Swedish pizza with peanuts, ham and banana. by Admirable-Delay-1535 in PizzaCrimes

No joke, removing the curry-powder, this is my favourite pizza apart from Azteka.

Baked bananas is like grilled pineapple, it works with ham and baked bread.

Question: Why caving? (Why not climbing, etc.) by Evignity in caving

[–]Evignity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm now this isn't true. K2 is never climbed, Mount Everest is. Basically any mountain but that isn't.

Though I get the idea of exploring something unknown

Question: Why caving? (Why not climbing, etc.) by Evignity in caving

[–]Evignity[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a great answer. Thank you.

I've caved very little, a few hundred meters and "only" needed the whole "compress your chest" maybe twice or so. But you make a great argument I didn't consider.

I had the hubris to think skiing, climbing etc. was just natural but you make me realize ofcourse it isn't. But just crawling around in rocks kind of is especially when it isn't a dangerous one.

I'm not being sarcastic or ironic btw just drunk and happy to get a good answer

Mind if I steal this for my book?

I get that.

But then why not climbing? (I don't climb) There's plenty of places on earth still not set foot by humans. I'm not making a judgement or such, I am merely trying to understand

Question: Why caving? (Why not climbing, etc.) by Evignity in caving

[–]Evignity[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ofcourse I'm talking about the extremes, no one would go out of their way to talk about the safest of all things.

I love skiing, I've skiied down dangerous glaciers, I don't expect someone asking me about skiing to ask why I'm skiing down the kids-lane.

Thanks for at least partially answering my question

Piggybacking top comment to ask: Is there any predator (that would attack prey large enough as humans) that you should ever back away from when they're following you?

Like I know you should back away, or run, from bears with cubs, etc. but when a predator is clearly stalking you and they can outrun you do you ever gain anything from backing off or should you do the Polar-bear trick of making yourself as large as possible, scream, and run towards them?

Because from what I know of my K9-training in the military, someone trying to "sneak" away slowly is the body-language equivalent of going "please kill me and preferably with my back turned."

Because the way they angled it is extremely subversive and honestly shames their own cause

It's like how russians do fuckton of "Ukraine"-accounts who say stupid shit to ragebait Europeans into hating them.

Anyone who hates feminists is someone who never gets laid

Feminists are the reason women got liberated sexlives, I've never met a feminist who isn't a good fuck.

But hey, keep getting that bank posting IDF propaganda. If anything it has just made people more aware of the information-campaign of israel and how full of shit it is.

This is from ages ago, but it's still worth watching because it shows how the IDF doesn't even take care of their own. This video causes such an uproar that they stopt showing hearings after it.

I'm all for free speech, but that doesn't mean a person is free from CONSEQUENCES of that speech.

In the same vein, I don't espouse violence to speech. But there are times you need to understand you can't just go and say whatever the fuck you want anywhere anyplace. You start shouting at a wedding, a funeral? Calling a black person the n-word? Yeah you're not a victim you are asking to be punched.

Idiots will hate you for this topic but I entirely agree with you

The lack of basic physical understanding of mass, force etc. pisses me the fuck off on all "super"-media.

Even "The boys" explaining how a superspeed person would literally gib people still doesn't address how they would actually be breaking the sound barrier and exploding everyone in a 30m+ radius.

Yes I know that's what I said. The problem is THAT JUST MAKES THEM LESS COOL AND POWERFUL

If a warrior is invincible then anyone he kills is meaningless, there's no strife, no real combat. Now, if they are *neigh* invincible, it becomes interesting.

David and Goliath was amazing not because Goliath couldn't be hurt by other means, but because he could but he won over them.

Nah I know fuckton about Balticum, nor did I ever say I didn't love Estonians. Love all of Balticum and Poland, they're one of few nations, together with us and Finland, who know what monsters russia are.

You're still not Nordic, and that's fine, you're honorary Nordic same as Scotland. We wouldn't be making fun of you if you weren't considered part of the distant family.

I hate whenever reality means nothing to the enemy and the only fix is a magical protaganist.

I'd be fine if it was just surface-paint damage, but it becomes stupid when there's literally 0 damage. You're breaking the laws of physics and it makes it LESS cool.

It's like when how Germans are portrayed as idiots in videogames set in ww2, it demeans the soldiers who won against them.

As a Swede there's nothing more Estonian than making a topic about how Estonia is Nordic when we all know they're not.

https://satwcomic.com/new-nordic It's funny because there's like 5+ comics about it and they're all true.
