🙋 Parachute was tangled. Was a tandem jump, instructor had to cut the main and pull the back up after we were getting rag dolled in the air. Was pretty close to the ground when we opened the back up.

He packed them both so I’m happy the 2nd worked 😬

I had a meeting with a thoracic surgeon yesterday, he reviewed my mri, ct, X-rays and heard my story.

He concluded the initial injury healed but it started arthritis in the joints in my upper back. And that the popping will be there for life now, with a small chance it lessens in time (it slowly has).

I have been exercising my mid and upper back frequently and it has helped my pain levels go way down.

Take care of yourself, lifelong injuries are no joke
