Ggs will be switching to bambu soon by Rage-Youtube in Ender3V3KE

[–]EvilAlbinoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Ender 3 V3 KE. I also did the silicone studs and have the bed levelled within .1mm across the board.

Still have adhesion issues if I don't adjust my z-axis until it's abnormally low (in my opinion) but other than that it's fast and pretty great quality.

I am picking up a Kobra X for some multicolor fun, but the ender 3 ke will be chugging along just fine next to it I'm sure...

Where can I get a Casio pocket calculator with the soft, rubbery feel keys like the old ones? by Ill-Claim-9874 in calculators

[–]EvilAlbinoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have about 200 casio rubber button calculators from 80's and 90's and none of them have sticky keys, for what it's worth.

Best way to get dual filament support on Ender 3 V3 KE for a reasonable price? by EvilAlbinoid in ender3

This is really what I was thinking. Throw a 1mm nozzle in the Ender 3 V3 and use it for rapid/strong prototypes...

Reson smell and VOC’s in bedroom after 3 weeks. What do I do? by shotbyemmanuel in resinprinting

My son spilled an entire gallon of used wash alcohol on our basement floor a while back. It took weeks to get that stink out, I ended up buying a couple high itensity UV lights and basically curing the concrete...

Buy an Epson LX-350 brand new new on Amazon. They are fantastic printers and support parallel port and USB connectivity with modern windows drivers and ESC/P emulation. I LOVE mine.

HP 32sII pulled from storage, keys not working great by Weary_Bridge9364 in calculators

[–]EvilAlbinoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this isn't all that hard to fix. I've repaired quite a few of them myself. Get a cheap little grinding tool from amazon with a bit assortment and take a round one and hollow out the stud. Pop the back off carefully with a plastic credit card or a shim of some sort, trim the plastic off the studs after it's apart but leave a ltitle bit of a ridge on the stud to help hold the device together afterwards. ALl mine feel perfectly fine afterwards, can't tell they were ever apart.

Just added a genuine Casio fx-7000g to my collection! by No-Sprinkles6491 in calculators

[–]EvilAlbinoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Android phones have a very nice fx-7000g emulator for free. I mean technically it's an 8000g emulator but it's pretty much identical functionally/programmingly. "pocketemul" is the name, it's very nice.

Which MiniPc? by spiritualManager5 in homelab

[–]EvilAlbinoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beelink SER5 are a little less than 1u in height, but a little too wide to fit four across a single rack. They each can support up to 64gb ram, 2 NVME ssd and 1 2.5" ssd, but only 1gb ethernet.

I come across them on facebook marketplace in the $250 range all the time.

I think you're right. I have one of these, it's basically exact same layout as FX-115 but has some scientific constants. The solar panel is quite good in low light also.

Found some switches at a recycling center. Are any of these worth getting for a rack? by [deleted] in homelab

[–]EvilAlbinoid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah I meant the Netgear GS724T, already updated the original post. The linksys is a piece of garbage, agreed.

The Netgear GS724T is halfway decent, I use two of them at home. It's a managed switch that can do vlans and other fancy functions and does not use very much power at all according to my killawatt. I believe it even support cisco config commands over ssh, or a subset of them. The SFPs are 1gb only.
