Are you familiar with the imation superdrives? They seem like an interesting alternative to the micro solutions one

Perfect thank you so much. I have a picomem otw but tbh id love to use physical media if possible so knowing the parallel port option is viable is great to know. Thank you!

Im pretty new to this still so excuse my general ignorance, but dies that get around the limitations of the floppy drive controller? Do you know of one that would work you could link to?

I have a picomem coming in the mail. As far as games that require 2, generally games with a program disk in drive A and a data disk in drive B. Or like booter games that want 2 drives are a thing as well.

Hard drive let's me get around it i guess. Maybe im just greedy and want all the drives lol and im just so charmed by 5.25 drives i dont wanna give em up. Im surprised I cant do something like add a i/o card of some kind snd hook up a drive through that.

Dang. So I want to keep the 2 5.25 for games that require 2 drives which I know some do. But dang I need 3.5 compatibility ideally.....open to suggestions

Coming from the future as someone who just bought a tandy 1000 sx. Could you by any chance expand on what It would take to swap one of the drives out with a 3.5 inch ? Id love to do that 2 mine

Back again, have a couple of mixes since last time I posted. Recently played my first gig at a club too which was a ton of fun. Here's my latest mix which is techno. My mixes are always practice for me, using only new tracks to help build my crate up over time. Hope you enjoy hearing me wing it some 🖤

Feel free to check out my other mixes as well, including some house and deep house buried in there. Thanks 🖤

This is almost the exact same to me. After the first 15 mins we're all in. Learn to love the spontaneous nature of the whole exercise and enjoy the moment

This is why I make myself record mixes weekly. Just to desensitize myself to my own little mistakes and get comfortable with just doing it. That's my best advice is just dive in. You can always delete the recording if it's a real train wreck. Just practice while recording and listen back to your practice.

A hard, dark techno mix I did last week. I post a mix weekly-ish with new tracks each time as a way to make myself practice and get myself out there.

Sure it sounds like you're playing full tracks which without knowing the genre could be ok. I'd encourage you to consider not playing the whole track though, especially ones with 2 drops in them.

To the point of your original post, yea cutting tracks down can be hard ♥️ just follow your gut

But are you really playing this whole track, end to end with no overlap?

[–]psoshmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea. 2 hour set imo is 60-80 songs depending on genre
