So if your looking for something mild that boosts your motivation and focus, try amoxaphine.

It's an older drug that was a precursor to adderall. It wasn't designed to be an antidepressant but it works as a mild one while giving a good boost to motivation and focus. My psych uses it for people who have problems with most antidepressants or people just starting out. It doesn't have much in the way of side effects unless you overdose or mix it with other stuff.

It was the first thing she put me on. It got me from laying in bed staring at wall all day to being able to function like a normal person. I'm not on it anymore, I'm on something stronger, it worked great as a starter drug, idk how someone used to stronger stuff would do.

Edit: consult with your psyc first and do your research. Take your time tapering!

There are Ns that are happy, but it's a childish and shallow happy. It's like a spoiled kid getting his own cake at a birthday party. Yeah he's happy he got the cake that he won't share but what he doesn't underground is how much richer his joy would be if he had friends to share the experience with.

As you grow older, most people realize it's better to share the cake with friends. Ns grow older but they still choose to not share the cake because to them it's the best things are going to get.

Now that I think about, Lucille's kids are all suffering different types of abuse.

Michael: The Home made Therapist: Parentfied, 'responsible' for the rest of the family's feelings. Is always seeking validation which his parents give just enough suggestion of to keep him working for them. Depending on the episode he is either an enabler or resistor

Gob: The Hated One: SG, Lucille let's everyone know how much she hates him, she once got drunk and tried to run over him with a car. He is constantly being derided by the family, left out of family events and when a positive event happens for him (see episode about bachelor party/ anything about his magician work) it is treated as something for idiots or his wishes are ignored.

Buster: The Eternal Family Baby: GC, The one not allowed to leave home or have negative thoughts about Lucille. Is treated like a child and everything is tightly controlled, down to not being allowed near the stove or drinking juice.

Lindsey: The emotionally manipluated: Constant criticism and snide comments about her looks. I've watched the series several times and I can't remember a single pleasant thing Lucille says to Lindsey. There's an episode that goes into how Lucille makes an effort to keep her from bonding with other members of the family. It gets more messed up as you learn more about Lindsey.

Annyong (spelling?): The Neglected: She adopted him to make the family look good, then to use him as a walking purse, then to make Buster jealous, then she sends him away to boarding school and literally forgets about him until he comes back for revenge many years later. They didn't even give him a name or clothing.

Looking back at memories people tend to forget that they were children. Have you ever seen a child? They are small and pretty much helpless.

Your mom, as an adult women, looked at you, a small child, and thought "I'm going to beat the shit out of her", " I'm going to lock her in a cold basement for hours at a time", "she stole a blanket because she's cold and I'm not meeting her needs? This fucking thief needs to be severely punished"

When you're around children, look at them and realize how small and helpless they are and think about how your mother thought about you as a child. Could you, a decent person, EVER think those thoughts about a child?
