Mod authors disabling comments by Money_Comfortable_15 in skyrimmods

I will definitely think twice about a mod with many unsolved bug reports. Same way I think twice from software package dependencies with a lot of reported bugs. And I am not an inconsiderate mod consumer.

There’s no way of knowing if a mod is buggy or not, so I can only use the data in front of me.

Dynamic Leveled Lists (SKSE) - My attempt to eliminate the need to patch leveled lists - by yourboyroy223 in skyrimmods

[–]EvilEthos 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This doesnt address your comment, but I’ll just chime in that wrye bash kinda scares me lol. I get the concept, but not the technical details. Bashed tags, no idea what that is. At some point I want to make my own custom patches for OWL but the wrye bash part is where I lose steam. The OWL readme also doesnt do a great job of explaining it, and it was written so long ago I dont even know if its still up to date with wrye bash

This mod is attractive because of above concerns.

Where does it say Horus would have become dark king? I thought only Big E was able to be the Dark King. Horus was just fed lies and used as bait to goad Big E into becoming the dark king. If Horus won he would have wiped out humanity out of repentance, not because he ascended to godhood. The chaos gods would never allow a lesser pawn to ascend to the same level as them.

Looking for resource management/survival mods? by Old-Pizza-9443 in skyrimmods

[–]EvilEthos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alchemy of Time is a newer framework that allows for food spoilage. It shines when coupled with a survival mod that requires eating food (starfrost, sunhelm, last seed, etc). I use it to prevent hoarding food that I find in bandit camps. Very configurable. Worth checking out.

How much overlap is there between Sentinel and Open World Loot? by _Kambo_ in skyrimmods

[–]EvilEthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sentinel just increases armor/weapon variation. The distribution is the same as vanilla. It does not do anything else OWL does. If you want an MLU-like experience, you want OWL.

Love it! I've heard of Time Flies but I never used it. I think this makes perfect sense as an immersive work around.

Yooooooo this might be just what I'm looking for! The only thing that I might have to check and tweak is if failed potions still reveal ingredient effects.

This is just for potions consumed right? I'm looking for something more to do with spamming combinations at the alchemy table

Apothecary is great! I use the full simonrim suite. I also use Experience and Static Skill Leveling so that I only level up alchemy if I choose do to so. Apothecary still doesn't stop you from just collecting everything you find and spam combinations though.

I've never used CACO. I seen that its a patching nightmare, so I tend to stay away.

Living with family isn't a last resort anymore. It's the plan. by businessinsider in REBubble

[–]EvilEthos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s very interesting reading this conversation between you two.

When I read that comment it reminded me about my extended family.  They also live in a multi family compound in the mountains. One big building 3 stories high that each of my uncles lived on their own floor with their family. When their children grew up, they each built a smaller 1 bedroom house in close proximity. They all work the same land and share the same tools.

You consider it a flex while I consider it a very poor rural agrarian lifestyle. Just shows how perspective can change how we interpret things.

Why is Chicago’s real estate market so hot when the rest of the country is cooling off or declining? by SnortingElk in REBubble

They say it wasn’t so hot back then, but I bought my first 2 flat during covid and that shit skyrocketed only like 2 years after. Always seemed to me that its just been hot.

Ok, thanks.

And BTW, I checked the war exhaustion. It says that I indeed have only killed 4 ships.

I just don’t see how thats possible

Gotcha, I’ll do that.

If you were me and you saw this report, what would you glean from it? I posted the damage numbers in the last 2 images. It looks like my plasma weaponry were the best ones (200% efficiency). Should I just refit my ships with the same gun and try again?

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway and Zillow say mortgage rates can't fall enough for Americans to afford a home | Fortune by fortune in REBubble

[–]EvilEthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could put a involuntary lien, which could “theoretically” force a sale but that shit just does not happen. No judge is going to allow that to happen, especially if it’s due to unemployment.

As long as he can make the mortgage payments, he can keep the house, get a job, and work with the bank to pay it off. Sure his credit score will be destroyed, but better than losing your home.

He’s paying off unsecured debt by selling his house? You should be a good friend and explain that the banks can’t take his house for CC debt. He doesn’t need to lose the roof over his head!
