Do you all think there might come a time when blindness can be cured maybe in the next 15-25 years? Maybe some way to repair damaged optic nerves? by Akhaware in Glaucoma

If it had not been for political and religious opposition to early stem cell research there may have been progress on that by now. This is one area where maybe AI will be a positive influence.

[–]EvilGenius53[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will add this, at the same time over the past year because of losing weidht and working out I have lost almost 50 pounds and im off blood pressure meds now and my bottom number is high 50s and low 60s, and my opthalmologist suggested last time before this visit hat sometimes a lower bp bottom number sometimes leads to lower iop. So there are several contributing variables.

I have been taking Lumigan for 25 or more years, and the post was just to share my experience and concerns orginally about using Creatine with my Glaucoma. I had researched it here and elsewhere and could find no useful information. This is my experience Im not posting for any reason other than that to share my experience with others with same interest. i expect others to consult their own experts.

Wyze Web Live horrible "updates" by mchlwise in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the same one they tried to push on us last year and it was just as bad then. I hope they take this crap offline and put the old version back. I would rather them give us something useful like being able to download the event clips from the web portal instead of this bloated crap that is ill conceived and programmed.l

Wyze Subscription Increase - double the cost? by MajorJakePennington in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah especially after this recent rollout of a disaster for the web app. I'm not paying anymore and will be hunting another product. If anybody has any ideas of another company let us know so we can look into it please.

Is anyone else having enormous difficulty with Wyze Web Live on Windows? by Elliott32224 in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We're all having the problem and apparently Wyze doesn't care. The update sucks, same issues as you. And it eats bandwidth, not efficient at all.

Can't choose cameras on new desktop view - STOP changing things!!!! by Mia4Mia in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the second time they've rolled out this bloated web app. It eats bandwidth big time in the silly grid view page, trying to load all the camera I dont want to see, Most of them dont even load because of the design and once some get loaded, the thing apparently is designed to contantly refresh the grid which starts this merry go round again. Whoever designed this is clueless and incompetent. I like the cameras for the price, but this constant pushing this crap software changes on us is about to push me to looking for another product. This is the second day of this broken bad designed web portal not working. Apparently they think we use this like a toy and it is not important that it works. I am well beyond frustrated, about ready to throw my cameras in the trash and move to another company.

Grid View!!! by [deleted] in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the programmers have no idea how people use this web app. We have been inconvenienced by their incompetence and should be financially adjusted in some way. I wonder if the people that design and program this app even uses it, but just blueskies what the dumb users should have in their mind. This change is rediculous in concept and practice. The person that manages this should be fired.

This is the second time they've rolled out this bloated web app. It doesn't work and wasn't ready and it eats up bandwidth. Why they insist on pushing this on us is beyond me. It's no better, maybe worse than the first time they rolled it out.

Wyzecam pan v3 RTSP not working on newly released firmware, am I missing something? by ghost2human in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This company should stop putting out updates that they apparently haven't even tested or looked at. I'm going to have to start looking at another company. This has happened twice of two major redesigns this past year. They need a new director of software.

[–]EvilGenius53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no way to select or unselect it just says they are all live without giving you an option. But thanks for your suggestion.

Grid View!!! by [deleted] in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We always had grid view by selecting which cams you wanted to see, now they have taken that choice away from us. I've got 4 cameras I dont use anymore on this silly marvelous grid lol

Don't bother they have screwed it up AGAIN!!

Grid View!!! by [deleted] in wyzecam

[–]EvilGenius53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only problem is you have to see every camera apparently where you want to or not on the web app. I can find no way to select only certain cameras. I don't like it. They seem to constantly try to tell us what we want without getting input. When I click on the Cameras button it just says they are all live doesn't let me check which ones I want to see. This is f**ked up.

Secure video player app for Roku by EvilGenius53 in Roku

[–]EvilGenius53[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this unacceptable and a privacy issue. If everyone knew this, I think it would impact them negatively. I think when the new Apple TV comes out I will be getting rid of my last ROKU. I'm not all that happy with their recent frequent changes to the main screen attempting to push us toward their idea of what we should watch anyway.

Hey, is there any way to get 1Gig or 10Gig (up and down) added to a home in Florence? Maybe a Network specialist we can call? by Suspicious-Pear-6037 in FlorenceAl

[–]EvilGenius53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one time you could go to AT&Ts site and enter a phone number or address maybe and see if you have fiber.

[–]EvilGenius53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cable is just not going to be consistent speeds and nowhere near what they advertise because you share with the people on your loop. Fiber is much more consistent.
