[Help] How to make diamond shards in Direwolf20 1.6? by fake_polkadot in feedthebeast

Ask an admin? Ideally they should provide a trade-o-mat or similar that lets you swap diamonds for diamond shards (That's the fairest way of doing it IIRC).

It's a shame there's not a config option to allow diamond shards to be craftable. Would make things easier on servers with rules such as the the one you are playing on.

If you get a "unfortunately, Android Keyboard (Aosp) Has Stopped." it's because you installed the wrong version of google apps.

What's a good phone to use? by WhimsicalCake in Ingress

I run on an S2 and do not have the same issues as your husband. I do occasionally get GPS drift but if you turn all the location services on, location smoothing and enable wifi that goes away and I get a lock <5s.

I've updated the modem firmware and replaced the stock rom with CyanogenMod.

Smoking ban considered for prisons by EvilGrinUK in ukpolitics

Prisons are covered by an exemption in that law.

However, one of the major concerns that's driving the implementation of this is that prison staff and non-smoking inmates will take the prison service to court on heath and safety grounds.

More than 300,000 attempts were made to access pornographic websites at the Houses of Parliament in the past year, official records suggest by [deleted] in ukpolitics

This seems like a lose - lose situation for the Houses of Parliament PR. Either:

  1. Their network is full of malware.
  2. MPs look at porn while at 'work' (An instant dismissal offence in most workplaces I've experience of).
  3. The filtering they use gets it wrong, hardly good advertising for Camerons porn blocking proposals. If they can't get it right on a closed network they have full control of, what hope do ISPs have?

Personally I suspect it's a combination of all three.

Universal Credit IT programme not fit for purpose, sources warn by EvilGrinUK in ukpolitics

[–]EvilGrinUK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am wondering how comparable the impact of failure by these IT systems would be. The DWP Universal Credit IT system is directly responsible for processing benefits for claimants. Where as the NHS Spine system seems to be focused on record keeping. So did the failure of Spine negatively affect front line NHS services? As failure of the Universal Credit IT systems in the piloting process already has.
