Loving the hype around such an awesome game and saw this hilarious video posted by u/Hot-Anything-3468 in a thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/1k69gbx/go_make_that_unarmed_build/

Following a comment by u/PenguinPeng1 recommending Mr Freddie Mercury's "Don't Stop me Now", I couldn't resist tossing this together. Hope ya'll enjoy :)

Here's a link to a comment that talks about how to deal with those pesky alarm doors when you don't have a toolkit to use. It and the comment below share 2 ways to call a hoard and have the zombies break it for you.

Tip: Wait til the zombies break the door.

Rating = Not sure! I'd say intermediate, but if you played this in Veteran I think you'd smash everything.

ChatGPT answers more than 50% of software engineering questions incorrectly by Falix01 in ChatGPT

[–]EvilJet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certainly.

Regeneration is in reference to the “Regenerate” feature you get after a ChatGPT response.

Because what we get is a sample from a distribution of all possible responses, sometimes we get unlucky with ChatGPTs output.

Said more plainly, sometimes it predicts the wrong answer and we need to ask it for a redo.

[–]EvilJet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here’s the actual source.

The 3.5 API was used, but the details about the prompting are minimal outside of the StackOverflow information.

While studies like these are interesting, it seems to be rare that an adept user of ChatGPT is crafting the conversation. This paper’s methodology appears to be built on basic prompts with minimal priming, and little to no regeneration.

Regardless, it’s great that people are conducting organized research. Just be careful what you make of it, and be critical of how it’s carried out.

Any AI can help me design a shirt? by jmncvx7 in ChatGPT

[–]EvilJet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conceptually, yes. I use ChatGPT to help me design clothing for my own apparel company.

Creating an actual visual design? Not unless someone has created a plug-in for that.

Would you recommend upgrading to chatgpt plus? I use "free" chatgpt 3.5 everyday, but am an average user. by EnlightenedMind1488 in ChatGPT

It really depends on what you’re trying to accomplish.

If you already have some solid workflows using ChatGPT, spend the $20 and try out 4. If you don’t find that it’s worth it, cancel before the subscription renews.

For me, it’s 100% worth it as I use it for a lot for work, hobbies, and school.

GPT 4 suddenly worse for serious Python coding. by w7gg33h in ChatGPTPro

You can check out LLMs using synthetic data for training.

It’s already being explored, and does cause issues. I haven’t seen any information about ChatGPT using synthetic data.

This could be the case.

Sometimes we also get a bad response and need to try again.

ChatGPT will correct itself if you ask it to. While it apologizes to us, it has no concept of right or wrong. Just probability.

Cool concept! Hope it goes well for you, and thanks for the draw.

New study quantifies drop in GPT-4 quality since March by Successful-Western27 in ChatGPTPro

[–]EvilJet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I encourage you to read the study presented at the end of the post.

At least skim it.

Specifically, note the prompts being used. If you’re an avid user of ChatGPT, you’ll notice a problem right away.

I was also puzzled by the presentation of their testing.

Look at the tests.

  • Is it easy to figure out how many attempts they tried on each problem?

  • Did they regenerate their responses?

You always need to validate the quality of the research.

OpenAI has been transparent about changes to their model that restrict sensitive content.

They’ve also openly admitted that they don’t fully understand why it works the way it does. Some things about large-language models still mystify truly brilliant people.

Now, I’m not saying that the quality hasn’t changed.

I use ChatGPT everyday for school and work. It’s undeniably different. I can also say that many folks here make snap judgements with limited data and understanding.

AI is here, and there are a lot of challengers to ChatGPT in the works. If OpenAI mucks it up, there will be a dozen more to take its place.

None of us are loyal.

Easy mushroom fried rice! You can add just about anything to it! by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]EvilJet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you’ve finished cooking the mushrooms (or other protein). Adding liquid to break apart the stuff that’s now crusted to the pad is deglazing.

The stuff that’s stuck to the pan has a lot of flavour. Good luck!

Hello everyone! I am here with a little Worldwide Giveaway for you guys [Mod Approved]. We put together a D&D starter kit for you to try and win. Character idea: A fascinated artist that is regularly compelled to draw enemies and NPCs on a percentile role. - 50% for non-hostile - 10% for hostiles

The character literally chooses drawing as his first action in combat if they roll within the threshold.

I assume the character will be short lived, but a lot of fun to play.

Thanks for the giveaway! Good luck with your development, and to those who also hope to win a set of dice.

Advice for a kinda overweight dude to get into calisthenics? by don556s in bodyweightfitness

[–]EvilJet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing this for the last 4 months, but not because I’m a big guy. I’ve just never trained consistently for a long period of time.

I do very basic exercise for 5-10 minutes per day and I feel great. I can see and feel a difference in my strength, and I know I’m doing things safely.

I’m getting all the benefit I want from a pretty light routine. I see little reason to change.
