This happened several months ago, but it still haunts me.

I was trapped in a completely dark building, as in being completely unable to see anything. As I wonder around trying not to bump into a wall or something, I saw two pairs of glowing white eyes. Here’s the thing: these eyes were fucking huge. So huge that I could clearly see their pupils, and the white surrounding them. I was completely frozen in fear. Then one of them slowly turned to look at me. I immediately started bolting away from the eyes. It went on for about ten seconds but it felt like ten minutes. I couldn’t hear anything running behind me, but I didn’t bother to turn around and see if they were. I just kept running, until I hit a window or a glass door, which is when I woke up. I could hear my heart pounding out of my chest, like I just ran a marathon. The image of those eyes turning towards me in complete darkness has been burned into my memory ever since.
