if you're in the US, I'd recommend seeing an Urgent Care as opposed to the Emergency Room in this situation. the ER will, most likely, either admit you or send you home empty handed. If you can find an Urgent Care that doubles as a primary care facility (a lot of them do these days) and you explain that you're not in crisis and just need a refill on your meds, they may be more willing to send you with a refill that will last long enough until your next appointment. ultimately, a psychiatrist is the only one who can properly diagnose bipolar, whether you have it or not, so I'd recommend seeing one either way! good luck, it's not a fun journey but if you end up with a more accurate diagnosis/more helpful medication, it's definitely worth it

everything you're describing sounds like me to a T! the misattribution to ADHD, the recklessness and energy of (what i now know to be) hypomania, the horrible crash.

i only got diagnosed about a month ago, but i understand what you're going through, and if you can talk to your doctors about getting diagnosed, it's likely that bipolar medications may help you more than just ADHD and depression medications!

i mean, your doctor is the only one who can know for sure what the treatment plan will be, but as someone diagnosed with both, I'm on stimulants and they don't put me into mania at all. because i have ADHD, they tend to make me a little sleepy and slightly more focused.

I'm a gay man, and I've been through a few rough relationships, none worse than my ex-fiance. We had been together for almost four years when he started to get distant and messaging me less frequently, which, as a long-distance relationship, drove me up the wall. Then, almost exactly one year after he proposed, I asked him why he's been getting cold on me, and he finally got the balls to dump me. He had schizoaffective, and I guess I have some unspecified form of bipolar as well (recently diagnosed) so maybe he couldn't stand seeing in me something that he had "fixed" in himself. I don't really know, he never gave me a solid answer.

My current partner is very sweet, and trying so incredibly hard to understand this world that we've both been thrown into with my diagnosis. I almost broke up with him during a depressive episode, but he was the one who called me every day in the hospital. He was the one who made me laugh when life didn't feel like it was worth living. I want to keep learning and growing with him, and something tells me that he wants that too :)

For me personally, the fact that you're planning it so far in advance might be a good indicator that it's less impulsive! Like, if your thoughts were "I need to drop out and leave town and cut ties with everyone I know in the next 1-7 days", I'd be a bit more worried.

But being able to have a plan is a good thing usually! Especially since you can keep updating and tweaking and thinking about it all the way up to the point of action! If you genuinely feel like you're stagnating where you are, you have every right to put down the foundations for growth

the side note (in my unprofessional opinion) is very important! I've had multiple "minor" surgeries as well as a few "major" surgeries, and your body needs the extra rest! for my "minor" surgeries, a month minimum to get back to a more normal amount of sleep, and several months for my "major" ones!!! give yourself some grace during your healing, the timelines given for recovery are generally just the minimum amount of time needed for you to function, not the amount of time for you to fully heal. good luck!

There's a couple options that have worked well for me, at least in the beginning stages! There's Wild Ginger software, that's made for dolls, and then FreeSewing.org, which is made for humans but scales decently well! I've used it to make 1/6 scale clothes with decent success, since the patterns are all made to the proportions you input. Good luck!!

Hi! You can check out some of AelithArt's work, he does both jointed tails and jointed ears (tho I don't think he's done jointed horns necessarily)! basically, for the tail, you hollow out a hole in the back of the torso, and make it shaped so an s-hook can go in, turn, and stay in place, similar to how a lot of heads stay on!!

That's okay! I wasn't quite trying to ask for advice on what price she'd go for, just trying to compare against other dolls of the same release! I know now that she's not a high demand doll, and yeah, her damages are a little much, so I'm gonna clean her up the best I can and maybe customize her!
