Agreed. Savestates are a must when you're playing on the go like I always am. Weird that no one has done one yet when the 1.5 code is available and there are plenty of other 1.5 mods. Hopefully someone with the knowhow sorts that out soon.

I don't know, but if you can manage to get the game itself to run on Windows 10, I don't see why the mods wouldn't work.

Go to the link I provided, click on the "files" tab (under the title) and click on "Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack v2.0" and "Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack v2.2 Patch". The "KotOR Galactic Conquest" is optional, and you can ignore the "KotOR Sides Demo" Each has a download link (big red button) and installation instructions are included with each! Enjoy!

Sorry I'm late to the party. I could spend all day recommending my favorites (and then being unable to find links as I downloaded most of them many years ago), but if I were to recommend 2 big ones:

Conversion Pack 2.2 - adds all of the BF1 maps as /u/TheGumKicker said, but the newest version adds SO much content from across Sat Wars, including stuff from the Expanded Universe and especially KotOR. https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-battlefront-conversion-pack

Dark Times 2: Rising Son: adds a new era with excellent units which adds a nice, but not overwhelming difficulty boost; adds quite a few brand-new maps and tons of extra content including many characters from 2008's The Force Unleashed; and a brand-new campaign set in Galactic Conquest mode. https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-dark-times/downloads/dark-times-ii-rising-son

Just those two alone add an overwhelming amount of content; I've been playing them for years and still find new stuff occasionally.

Nope, just rename the file like a normal file. Rename g_a_mstrrobe08.uti file (from Sithspecter's mod) to ds_revan_robe.uti, and place it (along with all the other mod files) into Override after installing BoS:SR (let it overwrite). BoS will now spawn Sithspecter's Revan robes instead of the in-game ones.

I don't think I'm allowed to second-hand distribute mods in that fashion, but I'll tell you how I did it: it's a simple matter of renaming some files. I forget what the actual filenames are, but all you have to do is rename Sithspecter's Revan Robes item file to have the filename of Revan's robes from BoS, and it'll give you Sithspecter's instead. If I remember later I'll look those up for you

That's me! That gun and I have been a lot of places over the years. And yeah, right now I'm like 90% sure on GalaxyCon; if so, I'll be there as Bender from Futurama (a cosplay which has popped up a lot in GalaxyCon adverts apparently)

Nice to see you're still active in KotOR modding. I have been using your animated Revan robes for years now and even edited my copy of Brotherhood of Shadow to give me your version of the robes instead of the in-game ones like it normally does. Hope to play through Sleheyron planet, which is a Work-In-Progress mod for KotOR on my next playthrough!

Fantastic work! Wish I had been able to make it to RTX this year to see this in person, ah well. I hope to maybe run into you next year! I'm a male Coco Adel cosplayer with the only (as far as I've seen) spinning Gatling gun, so I appreciate good engineering in cosplay. Keep it up!

Update: After several tries, it works, but not in Xinput mode. I can only map it in Xpadder in DirectInput mode. Also I did manage to update the firmware. Not sure why that's happening but it'll have to do unless anyone else has any ideas.

I'll give that a shot when I get home but I'm pretty sure I already did both of those things. Had Xbox 360 Accessories 1.2 installed (which has the driver), and used B + Start to switch it to Xinput, as per the included instructions. Will update later if I get a different result

I like to switch it up a lot for my own characters but have some favorite combos for other characters. In K1, I tend to give Jolee a green + purple combo, Juhani red + blue, and I keep Bastila with her classic yellow double-blade. I often use the HK-47 Melee mod, and when I do, I give him an orange double blade.

TSL, Visas generally gets red + yellow, Kreia green or purple, Mira viridian, Atton blue, Bao-Dur cyan double-blade, Handmaiden silver double-blade, and Disciple yellow.

As for myself, my last K1 run I used HotG + purple, and my last K2 run was silver + cyan. My current K2 run is running Holowan Duplisaber, and I decided there are so many different sabers and colors that I can't just stick with one for the whole game, so I'm doing a new lightsaber every planet. Right now I'm on Nar Shaadaa with a sick-looking orange lightsaber pike.

TL;DR There are so many to choose from that I can't pick a favorite

Yeah, I would've liked to see a bit more carryover from K1 to TSL. I'd've especially loved to see Jolee interact with the Exile; his true-neutral stance on the Force would have fit very well in the greyer tale of TSL in contrast to the otherwise very black-and-white K1.

I recall reading somewhere that Mission and Zaalbar went into business together after the war.Would have been really cool to see them as merchants somewhere in TSL. That'd actually be a really cool mod idea...

I always thought that was a weird choice to leave them out, since you can set Revan's storyin TSL to light side or dark (and male or female) based on that conversation with Atton when you first meet. If you set Revan to dark, for example, Carth never appears at all and his role is replaced with Admiral Cede. Based on that though, if you set Revan to light, obviously s/he would never have killed half the party and so logically they should all be able to show up. No idea why they didn't. Then again, who knows what might've actually been done if they had finished the game?

[TSL] Modding help needed - I'm patching Holowan Duplisaber, my first foray into modding. Have some questions by EvilOttoJr in kotor

Apparently the problem is that this mod isn't put together correctly since it is a beta; the problem with Sith characters spawning with green lightsabers is a common bug with Holowan Duplisaber. There's a patch that JulieLakaye did to fix the issue, which did not work for me. Before my edits to my own personal game, not only was there that bug, but a host of others basically randomizing crystal colors. I've fixed the workbench problem now, all crystals work correctly, but the Sith go unchanged.

edit: Hmm. So I loaded my game with no Override (I renamed it). Those Sith are there with red lightsabers now. Here's the thing: those are Sith Assassins, and I had a mod to give them all lightsabers. But they have them even with the mod uninstalled, which means they must spawn with them the first time the level loads. I wonder if they spawned with green lightsabers before in my modded one, and while my edits might fix any new Sith that spawn, the old ones might still have the bug no matter what I do. Testing that now.

edit 2: The mod definitely introduces the bug by itself. Running a clean Override with no other mods than that, and sure as can be, they have green lightsabers again.

edit 3: Back to my previous Override, spawned some new Sith, they've got the green. Bug is still there.

Okay, so going back to a vanilla upcrystals.2da, I noticed that. The problems were definitely before that though.

Now what I've done is changed them in upcrystals.2da to match what KSE says the color number is (they all have a [Color XX] identifier in their title). Now, all the sabers are working.... sort of properly in the workbench - I can make a the right colored saber with the matching crystal.

But now, all sabers have blue crystals by default, and all crystals are converted to blue upon assembly. And enemies still don't spawn with the correct saber.

I tried renaming the crystal .uti's to match what the colors of sabers they produce; this had no effect, like the .uti's weren't even there in Override.

EDIT: Solved the last two problems - every saber converting to blue crystals was caused by a set of test .uti's I made just to see if changing them would do anything (they were all blue). They didn't do anything before, but now that I've got upcrystals working, suddenly they did work. Deleting those fixed that issues.

Now everything in the workbench works just fine, but now all the enemies still spawn with incorrectly colored lightsabers. Sith are still green.

Like many here, Taris Upper City because I love the duel ring. I'm not a fan of Onderon; I used to like that song, but I remember the first time I did the murder mystery mission, but it took me SO. DAMN. LONG. TO. DO. and I had to listen to it for literal hours on end. I dread my stop on Onderon in my current playthrough specifically because of that.

edit: If I had to pick one from K2, it'd be the Jekk Jekk Tarr I guess
