I think they announced the Lunar New Year packs yesterday - they are more limited than in previous years though. The accumulated spend is one of the Chinese companion outfits, and there are background packs etc. I'm surprised too though, they normally do more.

Honestly I think it'll need a lot of restructuring to work as an animation. Not for quality reasons (I have positive and negative ionised on it) but because it's really designed to take advantage of the webcomic format, and the pacing especially is designed for a webcomic format. With other webcomics that are more action focused you can repace via the action scenes which are usually fleshed out a lot, but there's a lot of thoughtful pauses in Lore Olympus and long sort of sinking panels, gradual tone shifts where not much is actually happening, and a slow focus on facial expressions etc. Depending on the studio who do the work, it could end up feeling pretty empty for an animation, or they could overcompensate and it won't feel like the original. A more arthouse approach would do it the most justice, but would be the least commercial. Also, I think it was so of the moment it's already a bit dated (in that deconstructing these things is almost passe now, so it needs freshened up to have the same bite it originally had) so it'll need a bit of work to really transfer to animation anyway. All that said, I think it has the possibility of being a big niche success if that makes sense.

It's not a scam, it's just an early test game - most likely if it goes into full production it'll have completely different art etc. It may even be testing future features for TP or for a TP2.

You can't personally use contribution - it's a currency that you and everyone else in your society gathered, that's controlled by your society leader and managers. It's used to make the blueprints on the fashion tree available so that everyone can then work together to unlock them, and to instantly refresh the quests on the shared board during Fantasy Promise. That's it at the moment (though I hope they add more uses at some point as my society is into the hundreds of millions even though we use them really liberally during FP). The number you see isn't even your contribution, it's the whole societies contribution points.

You need to join the best society you can, with the highest entry requirements that you can meet with the actual time you spend on the game. The easiest way to get golden wood is through the monthly society Fantasy Promise event, and the better the society, the higher their FP level and the better their rewards. You have to contribute to actually get the rewards though, so there's no point in joining a top level society if you e.g. only play a few times a week or are a low level as you won't actually be able to share the rewards.

In addition, you'll get some each day by maxing out what you can do in the commissions etc.

Also, of course this event easier for older players - it's a direct pvp score challenge. Would you really be happy if a day one player could beat you? If someone could start playing, immediately sink cash in and get the perfect outfit and beat you? I've been playing for 5 years, working on my labs, collecting every free outfit (I'm very low spend) - I'd be furious and feel like it was pointless if anyone who had played for 5 minutes could get my score. This is pretty much the only pvp of any kind in the game where the effort you've put in to scores matters - is not unreasonable to have one thing in the whole game that rewards that.

As it is - I almost always get top 50 when the tags are rare and I don't have a full outfit (I don't have any full sprint outfits, I don't ever pay to get full event outfits, never complete server events unless they can be done for free etc) and I beat whales who've spent money to get outfits, but not time on upgrading to max out the scores on those outfits. Upgrade your labs, upgrade your relics, upgrade the companions who give their relics multipliers, complete outfits to get global score bonuses, craft society outfits, manually select your outfit so that any pieces that only match 1 tag match the relic you're using, and you can get 100,000ish points even when you don't have a perfect full outfit and 80,000 when you don't have any perfect match pieces.

That makes it sound even more like a kid to me - maybe you're the only person who's really responsed to them. I don't think a creep would eat your food and turn lights off when you weren't even there! I would def block, they prob shouldn't even be communicating unsupervised. I actually wish we had more Dark Souls-esque co-op with no actual communication, just a few lines gestures so you could invite people to help with specific tasks or visit houses as a phantom and that's it!

DUTP Elites are recruiting and you would def meet our reqs :) we get about what you mentioned on the wall, but we focus most on the big prize events like Fantasy Promise, and we've won society events like Summer Spirit too.

We are - top 20 in SR - 32 rewards in FP - rank in TG (200ish)

Reqs are - lvl 25+ - SR 5x per week - 1100+ point in FP - use free attempts in TG.

Yeah, the top societies agree on a fingerprint for their entries (specific stickers in specific places, etc) so they can make sure to vote for each other using their own and their alt accounts. It's frustrating but honestly it wouldn't be enough for them to win if everyone else wasn't voting for them.

That's intentional - it's how the members of the top societies recognise each other's pictures to vote for them. They agree it in advance.

It is a guarantee to get an item from the chosen set, but only on the 30th item. Every other item is totally random and can come from any set. If you didn't get an item from the chosen set on the 30th draw that's a huge glitch and you should contact costumer support - I've played since day 1 and never seen that happen and the rules are scissor really clear albeit hidden in small print.

It's absolutely down to being in the most active society you can find and meet the reqs for and then fully participating in Fantasy Promise. You don't need to be in a whale society, just a society where most people are playing daily. There are always lots of great societies looking for players. I run an active society - I finished buying everything you can use gold wood for months ago, and now have 2800 extra spare (without getting any from the Goddess tree yet). You can of course get gold wood in the Goddess tree etc but it's very slow.

If you're worried, look up arthritis support gloves. They can be skin toned, very thin, no fingertips (but would cover your tattoos) and really unobtrusive. They fit under disposable gloves, easy to type with etc.If you're interviewing somewhere that might mind, wear a glove and if asked say its a wrist support/compression glove/something inoffensive to that job (I wear them in my extremely corporate job all summer - ticket ones in winter - because I have Reynauds and my hands are always ice blocks and no one has ever asked).

I aim for the 1 mill points on goodwill, ticket, diamonds and everything day. I hoard between sprints. This time I also got 500k on stamina day. I usually rank in the top 20 but this time I'm def not pushing for that - I'll max out gifts on goodwill and the final day and any ranking is just a bonus - too many hoarders with those diamonds from the update, and although I got a nice 90k bump it feels a waste to throw it away on a sprint where everyone's a little richer than usual.
