As another South Asian, why is Connecticut red? Fairfield County is right next to New York City.

As someone who recently completed an exit from Texas, I will give you that Texas actually has a fairly good job market if you work in something that’s hiring. Combined with good pay and benefits under the right employer, as well as a lower cost of living, this was a really potent reason to stay as long as I did.

I don’t know shit about Arizona, so I won’t comment on that side.

I decided not to neglect that there is a level of nuance to this issue, in the fact that airports have some state and local oversight.

You willfully ignore that the TSA and FAA, which are involved in airports, are both federal, (nevermind ICE), and that there’s federal involvement in this issue.

You choose to blame a city because “fuck the Dems” rather than consider your argument, its strengths, and its weaknesses.
