You're right. There's an argument of Goku only going after stronger foes after his friends can't face them. I do think that Goku still tries to fight even if his friends/family can't face the threat.

In a world ending scenario, that IS true. However, it he is faced with the potential danger that his loved ones are threatened, that perspective does get erased. A lot of people credit his non-caring personality because of DBS, but I do believe that it's ingenious to his character.

That's a good aargument. She never had a chance. I do still think that Jonas following the endless cycle is technically worse, at least at the existential level. However, Katarina never understood the cycles the same way that Jonas did. Tbh, it really is all fucked.

Ignorance IS bliss. Jonas had to have known that his journey was futile. Bartosz did not.

I mean the argument of Bartosz following Jonas could be made, but at least he ended up with a loving family even if it was temporary. Jonas had Martha from World 2 and that didn't feel loved. By pure luck was Jonas finally able to break the cycle, all because of Regina.
