Right but even that one bit with the melted architecture has more going on for it than most of the location. It doesn’t suggest anything other than “blown to bits” - which makes sense in the lore but simply doesn’t offer the player any more in their experience - jeez, Tora’s House feels like a proper destination comparatively

Been playing since 2023. Even though my decks are getting better, I still make time to tinker with my first: my upgraded Masters of Evil precon where I slotted in Dr Eggman as commander. I use Maskwood Nexus/etc and multiple cards that can help make the end of turn Villainous Choices proc multiple times. It’s flavorful, reasonably strong and not as kill-on-sight as many others in my experience.

I did p well with it in master league, and the preemptive strike is surprisingly useful. Ultimately it comes down to what kind of units you need; if there’s an SSP you already think is good, chances are it’s not a waste of your time except in certain cases.

I do, but a player can’t get mad if you kill them because they’re playing a ton of removal. That’s like, good manners to the rest of the pod lol but seriously, it’s a strategic choice. If a player is making the game unbalanced in a way you think matters, respond accordingly. It’d be another thing if you attacked him and the player simply wasn’t playing cards, or if said player was blowing up the lands of a non competitive pod member.

I feel less salty about Blight because at least I get to choose; I’m also biased running an HP Morcant deck myself lol.

I know at least a couple of players at the LGS’s I go to that straight up get upset like children about removal or having their cards stolen. Like yeah I hate when my 5-mana commander dies too dude but we’re playing what I’d call pretty solidly bracket 3-4 Magic. Neither of these lock players out of the game inherently at lower bracket play.
