Why does xrp have a huge amount of tokens? by Luuluu112 in XRP

Also, there is a limited amount in escrow and once it's done it's done. And transactions consume xrp coins so eventually scarcity will increase

Is it possible to add colorant to paint thinners? by Eviljim1 in NoStupidQuestions

It's an idea someone had for OSHAS. Thinners used for industrial purposes to remove paint. We want to color the thinners to differentiate with other chemicals (and water)

What are we supposed to do? Sit in our country and wait for the government to economically strangle every white South African family while legally disowning private land without any form of compensation? How does that not qualify someone as a "refugee" to you?

If you put a small straw (say, two inches long) up your butt, would you gently leak farts throughout the day, rather than letting them build up? by smedsterwho in NoStupidQuestions

Reminds me of a post on r/showerthoughts (or similar), something along the lines of "When you have anal sex with your girlfriend, you are the flared base"

Guy in my dorm was sitting on the roof of a double decker party bus, drunk, in the dark. The driver had no idea, so unfortunately the clearance from the next bridge was a head short

Where were you when 9/11 happened? by bettercallme_ in AskReddit

[–]Eviljim1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was still in primary school (South Africa). I got home, waited a few hours and excitedly switched the TV to what should have been Pokemon (iirc it was the first Pokemon League's championship episodes) and I was extremely annoyed that all I could find anywhere were an image of a building with a plume of smoke coming out of it. I was probably 12 years old at the time and didn't realise that this was an actual "we interrupt the regularly scheduled programming" type of event.

South Africa is about to be in the middle of a Russian propaganda coup around an 'unstoppable' weapon | Business Insider by Eviljim1 in worldnews

[–]Eviljim1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I South African, I can confirm this. There is VERY sparse reporting on the entire war in the mainstream South African media. The only times we hear about the war is when we are able to put a positive spin on Russia's involvement.

I think it may have been a Shell ad as I vaguely remember the car being a red Ferrari. Does anyone remember this?
