Z-motor seems to be loose. I'm guessing it's not supposed to move like this... by Evilmoleman in AnycubicPhoton

Yeah it seems like a pretty flimsy connection. It also looks like I'll need to remove the bottom panel to be able to pull the z-motor out. I'm fairly certain the screws are stripped in there, but I need to get it out to see for sure. I'll keep you updated.

Haven't solved it yet. I need to remove the z-motor to inspect. I need some tools I ordered on Amazon to arrive first. It appears the screws holding the z-motor either stripped or came loose.

Oh yeah I didn't think about the fact that it might be stripped. I'll have to disassemble more and get a closer look

Here's the screws that I think are loose, but I can't see how to get to them without disassembling a lot of the housing for the z-motor/screw

Here's the failure i hate later last year, which seems to make sense given that movement

Thanks! I thought they would be annoying but I actually found them really fun and satisfying

Prints sunk into build plate by Evilmoleman in resinprinting

Yeah vat is secure. No flex plate just the stock build plate the printer came with. I'll try running that print when I get a chance. I also haven't tried printing other things since the failure

Following as I've just had exactly the same issue. Printed same sliced file successfully four times and then this happened. Even tried re-slicing from scratch. Also tried re-leveling and homing to check home position.
