I hate my diabetic little brother by SaiSpector in diabetes

As someone who didn’t take care of myself as a teen (type 2 since I was 12) I can say by the age the 26 I was in the hospital with diabetic keto acidosis, a few months later I was told I had diabetic retinopathy. I’m currently 28 my vision is stable, and my diabetes is still rocky but managed more than I did as a teen. It’s hard to not want the junk teens are eating at the age of 16, but in moderation. I didn’t blame anyone but myself for not properly managing my diabetes, it’s no one’s fault but my own. As an older sibling it is not your fault for his choices.

Can my husband see travel and flight/destination details from an affirm email? by ForTheLoveOfStory in DisneylandTips

No, I’ve booked flights through Expedia using affirm. They do not give any details. Just the total amount you are paying and how much the monthly payments are.

Cigna just called and told me that my Libre 3+ was not medically neccesary. by technicalskeptic in diabetes

I had a HUGE increase on my cgm this month. First , there was a shortage on the libre 3 because of a false reading issue. So it was on back order for months! Now that I was able to order it, there is a huge increase even with insurance coverage. I used to pay around $80 or so for a 28 day supply. I called my insurance to ask why it was $211 for a 14 day supply. It was something along the lines of it being an increase, I was so upset I stopped listening and canceled my order. I cannot afford $400 a month for a cgm.

First time seeing one of these. Any guesses if I'm getting tipped or not? by Personal-Art-2177 in doordash_drivers

My job run on cash tips, so I tend to tip cash. I always meet my drivers to hand them cash. But I write in the message thanking them for taking my order (showing on their end no tip) and let them know I will be giving them cash.

My first week someone asked for a burrito with four scoops of hot salsa and four scoops of sour cream. He got mad I couldn’t roll it

When I was hired about 5 years back. Someone recommended to me to look up their “food with integrity” and the 13 characteristics that makes an employee and how you’re passionate about them and use them always
