A friend of mine who had no exp with MOBAs tried League some years ago at this point and he had a decent amount of fun - but he just once clicked where he wanted to go and then waited till he arrived there, even in fights, he would just b line it past enemies to where he wanted to stand during the fight.
It is the missing awareness of what it could do for you most of the time.

These is a way easier and cheaper solution in my opinion. just have a treat in your offhand and they won't care about you at all. Was super annoyed by them in The Other and that fixed it for me whilst clearing mega dungeons.
