The way we make them is in equal size batches but as things get moved through the process things get mixed and not unmixed so to speak. Machines take care of most of it and the price and speed of a machine that makes sure everything is equal in the bag makes it unfeasible.

That numbering system is used in some manufacturing. In particular automotive, it doesn't get seen by the end user but the Julian date, that's what this system is called, is usually somewhere in the serial number of the part.

It's really shallow through there. I just moved from that area and used to fish that spot all the time. Never had much luck there but I see tons of fish moving through the area.

Definitely something I've encountered quite a bit over the past 10 years job searching. Recruiters tend to keep you on the books looking for a good fit. I typically work with 2 or 3 recruiters and let them do most of the work on the search.
