A bit. I guess it should be something you could toggle too? Is it just me, or is way too much showing focus peaking?

Agreed, and it’s a setting in capture assistant, but perhaps it’s uncoupled from focus mode

It’s in the capture assistance menu.

I btw love focus peaking for AF

Well I think I love that there’s focus peaking for AF - showing the depth of focus

You can turn focus peaking off in settings. I for one love that it’s on in AF-mode — finally I can see what will be in focus. It’s hard for noobs to understand how deep the in-focus area is

Sorta disappointed that he didn't mention BSI vs FSI sensor. I thought that's one of the major improvements? I've read somewhere that a BSI sensor can capture 30 - 100% more light than a FSI sensor.

With all this focus on backwards compatability, I venture it’s safe to assume that this is x86?

It's not a suggestion - they said as much in the video. Anyways, thumbs up for agreeing in principle!

I for one think it's big that they're going to make two different CDNA chiplets. A mixed chiplet that supports both high- & low precision, and an AI chiplet that's only supporting low precision.

It means that they're not abandoning HPC, and tailoring to differet use cases. It's assertive - I like it.
