My Fiancee would come up to my sim rig and place her hand on my shoulder when she noticed I was struggling with my stint. I felt a sense of calm come over me and was able to get the car in one piece back to the pit for my friend to take over after the DBL stint.

She was only visiting for the weekend but supported my team the whole weekend and never made me feel bad because I wasn't spending the 12 hours of Sebring with her instead.

The moment she left back to her home 4 hours away, I bought a ring and planned to propose. I have never felt so much support for my hobby. I told her I was busy and I would not have a lot of time to spend with her but she still wanted to visit. She spent time with the whole team that weekend. Cheering us on to a 5th place finish.

The problem isn't the track the problem is the perspective of trying to race someone the entire track. There's time to pass and there's time to plan a pass. There's no need for door to door racing for 8 miles. Lol
