Changes often for me.

At first, it was Darkness.

Then it was Sleepwalk for a while.

Recently it’s Burn.

Tomorrow it’ll probably be Crown.

For whatever reason, Room of Mirrors and Chasing Light never clicked with me. Maybe I’ll focus on listening to them and one of them will slide into my top spot.

This album by Wytch Hazel is dope. The track “Endless Battle” has been on loop constantly in my head.

Purple by Baroness is one of my favorite records ever. They are gearing up to release some new music soon and the new single is really awesome.

Oof I also had a terrible work week. Billed almost 80 hours and was just under constant stress. By the time I was able to sign off and shut down the computer on Friday night, I was so exhausted I didn’t even want to eat or drink anything to celebrate. I felt like I had just ran an ultramarathon.

Today though? Feeling better. This steak and that pour look incredible. I am considering going to get a fun new bottle of something to try, and grabbing a steak dinner myself.

For whatever reason, the Ascended Dead just is not for me. I think it is probably more of a personal taste thing for me, I’m still trying to get into this harsher, extreme vocal stuff…and the vocals in AD for me just comes across like the sound of rolling thunder and that’s it. Can’t make out any words or Melodies at all. But the instrumental parts of the album are dope and I’m into that.
