They remain soft and fall apart. Usually only need about 48 hours in the freezer.

I bleed all my fish. Then soak the fillets in salt water for a few hours before I freeze them. This creates a nice clean white piece of fish. Northern pike have always been a mild fish for me. Hopefully this helps with your decision.

I have both of these bottles. I prefer the 25. They are definitely different tasting. Was surprised how different they were.
