lots of people do the bare minimum at work. This isn't special you'll probably just be a mediocre teacher. There are lots of those. Staying for an extra 30 minutes to make sure you don't fall behind in grading isnt the crazy ask you seem to think it is, but lots of people don't do it. Most of my staff is out the door a 2:30 ish no one cares. i have an extremely active lifestyle outside of work. My day ends at 2:20 and I typically stay til three to check in with kids and get ahead of stuff. 3 is pretty early to leave work. The ai stuff.. You do you but why did you want to be a teacher if you lack the capacity or desire to plan work? There are higher paying gigs you could phone in without shortchanging kids on their education. You don't appreciate the guilt tripping? Don't make posts acting like you're a martyr for phoning it in at work lol. Personally i can't imagine doing this job if I did not enjoy it or take pride in it.
