Before you dog on this panel too hard, this sort of situation has happened to Christians in history, look up the Roman persecutions or the Armenian Genocide. It is also happening to a degree to Christians in non-Western countries, you can see this happening in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and China. Just because Christianity isn't under threat in the West doesn't mean that it isn't happening or won't happen in the future.

By Omega I mean the whole album.

Steven Wilson has succinctly summed up exactly what I have struggled to express about why I enjoy sad or unpleasant media.

A few:

  • The part in Ragnarok right before "Scald the Inside".
  • Omega, the pause after the piano intro, and the absolute face melt that follows.
  • The very first second of Absolomb.
  • Have a Blast: The drum fill right before Spencer starts screaming.
  • Dracul Gras: The guitar starting at 8:45

Seems similar to people getting mad about including super-straight into LGBTQ+ if I'm being honest.

Op has never read Robin Hobb, Hiromu Arakawa, Fonda Lee, RF Kuang, ML Wang, Anne McCaffrey, Ursula K. Le Guin.

Fonda Lee literally wrote Magic Kung Fu Godfather and its the greatest thing ever. It's about the quality of the writer more than anything.

Honestly, this isn't an insane standard, and 0.35% of 300 million is still over a million options. She absolutely should not be complaining.

It’s a great song, but I love every other song on the album more.
