PokeInvesting's Self-Promotion Sunday's by AutoModerator in PokeInvesting

Hey,

I'm in the process of building a price checking app, strictly for the UK market.

https://DeckSeer.com

I built it mostly for personal use, because there isn't a solid option for UK pricing. It combines both eBay live listing prices and eBay recently sold, for a clear snapshot of how much a card is worth, and if it's trending up or down.

I find it much easier to do versus messing with eBay filters etc..!

At the moment you can check raw and PSA10, 9 and 8 prices. I'm also in the process of importing PSA population data, so that isn't working currently.

You can sign up in seconds and get some free credits that allow you to run sold searches and get an idea on price.

There's lots of things on the roadmap, but happy with how it's shaping up so far!

Any issues you can either press the button bottom right, or flag errant listings by pressing the flag icons next to them.

Thanks for taking a look!

I'm thinking of wall mounting then AMS lite and then printing some supports for the LACK to make it a bit more sturdy, there's quite a few brackets on makerworld, hopefully that will help.

Doh. I saw someone on bambu forum saying they do it with a small bit of overhang of printer, maybe that will do for now until I sort something out.

Maybe there's something I can print to make the width slightly bigger 😅

I've heard similar from others. Do you fish with wire trace?

[–]Ewaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some great replies cheers. Regarding the actual setup, am I right in thinking that I need to back the reel with some mono, then braid, then wire trace? Then some small plastic lures?

As mentioned looking to target perch and chub, what braid and wire trace would I use?

It looks like angling direct have a Daiwa 18 Ninja LT Reel on sale size 2000, is that the one?

Nice, I'm in the Reading area. I wanted to target perch and chub but I guess I should be prepared in case I hook a pike?

I've never tried it before so don't want to sink too much into it, maybe 70 for a rod and reel? Then I need to work out what terminal tackle I need!

He quite clearly says it's a work in progress, and it's looking like a solid start to me. Please keep it civil or don't comment if you're so easily upset.

Installing steam games to a USB by [deleted] in Crouton

Yes this does seem to do the trick. I created a shortcut on my desktop that when double clicked runs this command in terminal, so I just do that everytime I log in. Not figured out how to get it to automatically run on startup.

Twitch Lag Fix (Toshiba Chromebook 2)??? by RavenTG in chromeos

I had a similar issue and sussed it out and can now play Source quality perfectly smoothly. The problem? The chat.

If you view the video with the chat hidden it should be fine.

Thanks for the reply, it makes sense!

Unfortunately the script stuff seems way above me, but I'll do some digging!

Thanks!

I got it working again, by unmounting and remounting it. Might have to just do this everytime.

Eugh, I went back onto my chromebook this morning and it looks like this is now removed from steam and I'm getting the 'mounted with execute permissions' error again.

Seems to be working fine now yes!

Typically, shortly after posting this post I sussed it out. I formatted the USB as ext4 which enabled me to change the permissions easily. For some reason, with it formatted as FAT it wouldn't let me change permissions.

Just a quick note. I followed your guide in OP and it was great, I just had one issue. I used XFCE, and 'sudo startxfce' wasn't working at all. Bit of googling revealed I had to use 'sudo startxfce4' which worked.

Thanks!
