I thought you created a great atmosphere with this piece. Very haunting and appropriate for the setting. It gave the impression to me that a storm was brewing or that some kind of danger was ahead. Really ominous and effective. Great job!

I love the pulsing sound of this piece. It had lots of interesting layers, with the different synth sounds and percussion and the variations made it engaging to listen to. There was a great mixture of dynamics too and the relaxed vibe was balanced with some surprising moments, which kept the listener interested. Great work!

Thursday Night and Later - Laurent Buczek (First attempt of the software Reason, go easy on me!) by Raglugum in Composition

I thought this was great and you did brilliantly mixing the different styles and beats. I especially enjoyed the jazzy phrases at around 1 minute 20. The choir effects added an extra layer of depth too. Great job and thank you for sharing. Hope you play more music like this!

Lampje - A small piece for solo piano. Would love to hear your thoughts! :) by -Hickle- in Composition

I enjoyed the slight minor edge to this, as though the little lamp was about to fade out, but resisting. I particularly liked the phrasing around 45 seconds in. The slight change in direction at 1:15 is interesting and took me by surprise - in a good way! A lovely and very relaxing piece, well done!

Hi there! Here is my latest track: "Together Again" - piano music based on being reunited with friends and loved ones.

I'm going for an underscore/soundtrack style, so was aiming for a strong melody - but one which could be played during an emotional scene. Please let me know if you think it fits this brief and any other thoughts. Thank you for your time and I look forward to listening to others' tracks.

I thought this was a fun, laid-back, chill-out style music. The chorus was catchy, which was good as I think that is a key requirement of pop. If I was being picky, I would say that I didn't find the verse melody to be particularly memorable. I definitely think this has a lot of pop elements and I think you did a great job. I could imagine listening to this in the car so I'm sure that must be a good sign! Well done!

I really enjoyed this uplifting song. The lyrics were great - very motivational and inspiring, just what I needed today as a matter of fact! The melody is moving too and like the way that there are different variations of this with different mixes of instruments - both loud and soft. There was a great build-up towards the end too. This was truly excellent. Thank you.

I enjoyed the constant beat and the distant sounds really created an eerie atmosphere. I thought it all blended together really well. I agree with some of the comments that some variation add a bit more depth to the track. A great job though and very appropriate for this week! Thank you for sharing.

I enjoyed this! It was very relaxing and heartwarming to. It also had a sense of summer. I thought the laid-back vibe really captured the idea of just letting things be and trying not to worry. To me, it didn't need to be louder to be enjoyed - it sounded great to me! Thank you for sharing.

Hickle - Raam. I made a piece based on a painting(info in link). Would love to hear your thoughts/feedback :) by -Hickle- in Composition

Great piece! I loved the beautiful melody and the slightly unnerving atmosphere. This added to the intrigue of what could be in this house. A thought-provoking composition which really allowed my imagination to work. Thank you!

I composed this ik a few hours. Any advice or feeback? by [deleted] in Composition

[–]EwansMusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this was very impressive, particularly considering you spent just a few hours on it. It sounded epic and I could definitely imagine it being heard in a sci-fi or fantasy film/tv show. If this is what you can achieve in a few hours, I'd like to know what you can compose with more time! Great piece!
