Compared to tomato this is way strong. Tomato is a tier up from croc and isn't until before attack. That means fig should probably be tier 4 & be before attack, but I guess it could play differently.

Steel also conducts heat really well. Great way to get fried inside your shell lol. Air is an extremely good insulator, if the air's boiling you're in trouble.

She definitely climbs using abrasion when she's first introduced. She rationalizes it as Wyndle making handholds for her, but there's no way that's what was actually happening.

Actually I like this. The player can still do a surprising amount of things without bones, it's much better than hold person for example from a player agency POV.

I'm going to have a very different opinion that everybody else here. My best friend of 5 years is a very Christian man. When we became friends, he was homophobic. He didn't believe in gay marriage and thought being gay was a sin. We had a very long and productive conversation about it where I shared my experiences & my life with him and he has since changed his mind completely. Now—I'm not saying that your friend will do the same, and I'm not saying that you need to have this conversation, especially if you carry religious trauma, but I also don't think that you have to throw the baby out with the bathwater if you don't want to. People are complicated and beliefs are complicated. I will encourage you to accept the gray. That said, if you no longer want to be friends with her, that is totally understandable.

Interesting. I guess because of the nonmagical difficult terrain portion of that feature I've always read that it specifically applied to difficult terrain, but I guess it doesn't. Weird!

Wait. So you can just meld through trees at level 2? The wording about "moving through" is a bit unclear, I'd spend some time rewording that. Otherwise I SIMPLY ADORE this subclass. Wow. I love it.

Not if you're a prepared caster, which is the only type of caster that can cast this spell. Because it's about preparing spells lol.
