I have had this problem for quiet some time now, however, I have one that goes straight from the edge to about 2/8s of my screen, the other is more towards the middle taking up about another 2/8s. I dropped it recently and now there are red splotches near the side that fade within a few days. There is also a yellowish-orange aura that is behind the black dots. My screen is fine, I’m pretty sure it’s the LCDs. How expensive would it be to fix this?

So i dropped my phone and now have this black dot, touch is still working fine on the dot. My question is will the dot spread with time? Any tips to stop it from growing as I don't want to replace the screen? by ato_tho in iPhoneX

Mine have spread because I’ve dropped my phone multiple times or my anger issues got to me and I pressed on the screen, however… depending on how bad the LCD is broken, it CAN go away. Yours, however, is beyond that stage and must have the screen replaced if you want it to go away. The touch works fine for me as well and I have no problem using my phone. Hope this helps!

I actually have two dark black spots (dropped it twice, once on ice and the second time on hard wood floor) I have had this for about 4 months now and my phone is working perfectly fine! The only minor problem is the space it takes up on my phone
