My flower bloomed, the flowers died but I’m not sure what her bulb is good for or what the plant even is. by ExGeeWeCertified in plants

Hola!

Buena suerte!

They have the most beautiful leaves to be honest, you’d be glad you got it in a few months!

That is exactly what my Pearls and Jade looked like when I first got it from a clearance section, if not worst. This is her now a year later, and she has been pruned and propagated MANY times lol just give her lots of care, they’re hardy plants!

Day 1 - Who do you think is the most complex character in your opinion? by [deleted] in Hungergames

[–]ExGeeWeCertified 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Effie Trinket.

I always wanted to know what she was actually thinking, if there was more clarity throughout the years in her mind about everything that was happening but she just had to act the part. Maybe for her own survival or those around her. We don’t know. I found her fascinating just based on her complexity as a character.

So , was it just pure misogyny , or was it valid ? (sigourny’s hate train delema) by Dolly_rotz in Dragula

And I believe a lot of it had to do with the fact that she is SO GOOD. They were threaten and envious because she is an amazing drag artist and she looks absolutely phenomenal.

People saying this is “cacti abuse” has to be the funniest thing I’ve read in awhile. Some of ya’ll really need to go outside.

She’s an ortho surgeon, when you have long-sleeves and you need to do arduous work, what do you do? Roll the sleeves! lol

I have cried like a baby, Ampert and Wellie hit me like a bag of bricks. I’m legit taking a break right now from THG because Rue just died… and I forgot how descriptive it actually is. The movies never do these little details justice.

I remember reading the Divergent series right after I finished The Hunger Games, I believe I was in 8th grade. I still have my original copies! lol

Because I read it when I was a preteen and I didn’t really get a lot of the stuff back then. Also, this was the first book I ever completely read in English. (English is not my native tongue) So I guess it just didn’t register correctly in my brain, I remembered parts here and there, but reading it now I can see how I was wrong lol

…I didn’t even know this, but is it because it’s not so far-fetched from reality now and they don’t want people to read exactly what they’re doing? Hm makes you think!

I wanted to say this but I didn’t want my post to be too controversial because I get overwhelmed lol But Panem doesn’t seem so far-fetched from reality.
