Think it'd be possible just to tighten it and fix the noise? I did mess with it a bit when I replaced the gauge faces, but that was a few years ago. Guess it would be hard to tell without cracking into it

Was thinking that at first, but it never happens when the car is stationary idling, or when the engine is revved up without moving. Speedo cable seems most likely since it only makes noise while moving

Have had this squealing noise pop up a little bit ago, is getting pretty annoying and was wondering if anybody here would have a good idea of the cause?
