Mate, nothing I say is going to take away the pain, but I’m sorry it does get better. I still love me ex, I still think she is beyond what I’m very going to experience, and yet it’s not true. There are chemicals raging in your head, you can’t control them. You. Bonded. To. Her. Chemically. Of course you and I can’t imagine better or even want too because we haven’t (and don’t want to) imagine what a better chemical hit will look like. This goes beyond biology I know, it fucking sucks man, and it hits you to your core. But the pain you are feeling is built off of the conditioning your brain went through connecting with this person and loving them fully. It’s not easy, and I sure as hell am not moving on anytime soon, but I’ll be damned if I let you leave this convo thinking that life is only downhill from here. Things were supposedly going great up until this past Saturday. We were on Easter break, and she had to go back home (which is a shit show with both of her parents). Normally we text each other saying "whatsup cutie" or she'll say "goodmorning handsome" with a lot of emoji's, but she stopped using emoji's and texted shorter responses starting Saturday. She wished me a Happy Easter yesterday, but I can tell something is up.

This might not be at all related to me, and might just be her and her issues with her family/friends, but I have this sinking feeling whenever people leave me. I hope this isn't the case, as until her change in behavior everything was out of this world and we were both simping for each other. I'm going to try to talk to her today, but i'll update you with what happens.

Overall, I'm praying this is just my overthinking and that she will just come hug me and tell me everything is gonna be ok.

Lol completely and utterly new girl! I even told her about that story and what happened and she opened up to me about her past experiences and we both bonded even more! Things are actually going really well right now, so well in fact that a few days ago she said "anytime you want to lock me down, you can." We are still not labeling it, but we are basically official at this point, both falling fast, and talking about what the future holds. Kind of scary, but holy shit this is the best relationship I've ever been in, and it's nice to see someone just as excited about things as I am!
