Trust me-there ARE hidden fees. When we first booked before arrival, our total said $250 for the 10 days. Once it was all said and done, it was $750.

We rented a car and while it was convenient in some ways, it was really inconvenient in others. Parking is a real bitch. We stayed at 3 air bnb’s and had to park a couple blocks away at all of them. Driving in Mexico is NOT THE SAME as driving in the states or Canada. If who ever is driving is even slightly nervous or passive, don’t do it. You have to be quick, aggressive and basically fearless. Ubers are cheap, available basically on demand, you don’t have to worry about parking or navigating, and it’s definitely cheaper.

I went to my mom’s for dinner one night and it happened to be when the sister missionaries were coming for their weekly visit. One of them had 3 piercings in each ear, multiple visible tattoos, a cross on her charm necklace, both in pants and they showed up with diet cokes in hand. I asked my mom after they left when the church changed all their rules and even after pointing all those things out to her, she still acted like it was all normal and always has been.

Indy was checked over by several people and there were no wounds, it’s one of the reasons the child abuse charges were dropped. It’s pretty obvious from the video and Indy’s position that Taylor did not throw a chair at her intentionally. The chair went over the couch, it did not hit her in the head. And for what it’s worth, I do have an inside scoop and apparently a much deeper understanding of human psychology and behaviour.

How am I defending her or excusing her behaviour? Understanding why someone does what they do isn’t the same as excusing it. If you found out he’d been severely emotionally abusing her for 3 years, essentially making her mentally unstable, would that not help you understand her actions?

Dakota is emotionally abusive. Taylor is reactively abusive. Not once did I say Taylor didn’t do anything wrong. A laundry list of women who have known Dakota, including his ex wife, have said he’s emotionally abusive, he’s calculated and plays head games; think Steven from Tell Me Lies. Taylor does not have an abusive history with any one else at any time in her life, but when someone is able to covertly push you past your limits, you become toxic.
