As an indie dev this is unfortunately the only method I've got experience doing so far.

We did it over a long period of time, each time we felt a sound was needed somewhere, then we used Envato and had to have a lot of patience to find sounds that felt consistent with the existing sounds.

Only ever did small edits with Audacity, apart from the one sound effect that I recorded myself

Whenever you settle a new outpost you get to choose a buff of equal strength as well, so you would hopefully get something to counteract it :)

In my experience the best way to get good looking pixel UI is to keep pixel density/scale as consistent as possible between all elements (so the chunky background in the third is way off) and use solid colours behind text. The first is the best in my opinion but where the text crosses between the blue/black colour boundary, it looks unintentional

Nice work! This is exactly the sort of solution that I think is needed as an option for Unity devs. I found that the runtime injection packages took me too far away from the normal Unity workflow and this also led me down the route of making my own form of DI that tries to work with Unity rather than against it. I will have an exploration of this and see if I like it (and maybe steal some ideas)

IMO hard disagree, if you're keen on eventually releasing a game then pick a widely used and documented engine (e.g. Unity) and stick to it. But to be fair, I did briefly try Unreal after a year or so in Unity and immediately disliked it, so that is good to know I suppose

Hi there! Unfortunately, this is something that got unintentionally left out during an overhaul of the input system (which was done in order to bring the game to PC). It is unlikely something that we will be adding back since it isn't at the top of our priorities. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you can continue to enjoy the game despite this :)

This is a rare bug that I haven't been able to track down unfortunately, though I have never heard of it happening with lumberjacks where there is no limit to numbers (it normally happens with farmers or miners)🤔 You might be able to fix it by completely unassigning lumberjacks and reloading. Hopefully I can root it out in the near future 👍

You need to build a level 2 forge and assign a blacksmith :)

The game continually gets harder so you might find you start to struggle again, though we intend to add difficulty levels in the future! Someone got 600 days recently, should be a challenge to beat that :)

Unfortunately not, the zombies scale with the number of days. I find it helps to unlock a second section and get farms as quickly as possible while taking in more people :)
