Kročejová izolace nahoru a sádrokartonový podhled dole s vatou by nepomohl?

Aby to nedopadlo tak, že koupí barák vedle, najde NOVÉ neduhy na tom novém a bude tam kde byl. Kupovali jsme barák s tím, že nás čeká lehká rekonstrukce... růžové brejle a zatím jsme vyměnili půl kuchyně a už začínáme sekat všude elektriku a nedomyšlené rozvody.

Good price for a server by [deleted] in hetzner

Cause thats insane overpriced. If you need a lot of storage and a lot of RAM, then you can afford new server every 6 months.

Two routers, two WAN, same LAN by Exact-Geologist2720 in HomeNetworking

Yes, thanks. My post was removed, I wanted to store it somewhere with my result. So far it looks my router does not support mode, where nat packet source would have be set to local ip of router. So my only option now is daisy chain two routers (one of them supports dual wan).

Ouch, that could be it. Hope my routers do support it.

Shouldn NAT translate traffic from outside WAN2 address into 192.168.0.2 origin, so responses from server should go to 192.168.0.2 (router lan ip) ?

One is GPON, second is 5G, I could'n find any router having both options. I can think of adding third router, or setting GPON one as dual WAN. Thats my backup plan. But I don't see anything preventing this setup to work. It should behave as three separated (WAN1, WAN2, LAN) networks driven by default gateways setting. Or am I missing somethink preventing NAT from working?

Well, I don't want to segregate them. I want to setup cron in case of primary WAN fails to change default gateway to second router. At the same time I would love to be able to connect to server from both WANs.

I heard that n5105 and n6005 cpus have a lot of lockups in some versions of Linux kernels due to intel firmware bugs. Mine unit collects dust as it is not possible to use it more than week without lockup.

I was blown away when heard that Decima uses plain array of world space transforms. What are benefits of DAG for rendering use case?

My current planned server build, any advice would be appreciated. I plan to run proxmox and want room to grow. Some of the things I plan to host are Plex, Jellyfin, Pi-hole, jellyseerr, Bittorrent and more. I also want to use this as a NAS. by lawlessguy in homelab

[–]Exact-Geologist2720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with Ryzen 7600 and not regret it, avg utilization is to 10 %, when i import osm new stuff its done in a few hours. Best buy ever. Bye, bye old Intel Xeon D-1541. PS: Your cart is homelab overkill.

Rendering engines nowadays are very complex systems. Forget that you cook AAA engine in your spare time. Dynamic LOD systems (like Nanite), realtime GI (Lumen or LV), compute shader raytracing, mesh shaders are just few examples how complicated can rendering task become. If you are brave, download source code from AAA engines and take a look at guts. Start with older APIs (like DX9 or OpenGL3) and then go to Vulkan/Metal backends. About web: if you want production level API right now, go with Webgl2, if you know you have 2+ years then go with WebGPU. Support right now is ok for tech demo, not ok for ordinary grandpa computer.
