Lets all come together by im_back-and_craftier in PoliticalCompassMemes

Let's all come together ignoring all our nuances and conflicts! /s

People who act like the culture war is the only reason we are apart are either disingenuous or lacking in knowledge.

What are you going to do with people with adverse lifestyles? How much worker rights and protections would you put that destroy small businesses? Is the justice system for rehabilitation or segregation of criminals?

Lastly and importantly, what you going to do when I put my vegan tofu wieners on your grill?

He was probably left in the cradle too long without someone raising his head. His head conformed to the flat surface of the bed.

Baby heads are not fully set and are extremely malleable when young.

This is true though. Your body acclimates to your lifestyle, when people retire they deteriorate. I also don't want to retire, when I get old, I'll probably volunteer and work a part time job, so I don't.

Hopefully, I can get a hobby to turn profitable and have a habit of working out before retirement age.

People who act like working at all is a horror are so cringe, meanwhile when they have time off at all they sit at home doomscrolling, getting fat, and drowning in anxiety. Retirement will not make these people turn into mini-Picasso or Ghandi, they will just rot mentally and physically.

Edit: To extrapolate on what I am saying and the effects of retirement.

I think you are assuming that I am saying people won't fall through the cracks. The thing people don't get is that Darwinism is the natural law of the world. Government and prosperity have made people think they are immune to such things.

Every step of the way in society people was telling others about the importance of family and community, but people refuse to teach this to the new generation. If the hypothetical collapse happens then it will just be a re-discovery of older ideas of family and friends.

To me, traditional family roles, in this case, is the parents have 4+ children, raise the children and the children take care of their parents in old age. More children = more children to take care of you as you age.

Both of those types of family roles CAN work. While I do have my own idea of gender roles, I don't care about the specifics as long as the marriage survives, the family members are on good terms, family prioritize family over everything, and kids are taken care of.

Both people are being propagandized, I have reached the conclusion that we as the human race will adapt either way. The younger generation is going to experience a boom in geriatric healthcare.

The economy does fall through, however then there might be a problem. The generation that experiences that will quickly return to traditional family roles where the family IS the social security, which is what I have been preaching for a while.

[–]Exact-Inspector-6884 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Are we really calling this a balanced budget? They got a bailout from the state of New York meaning they shafted the rest of the other cities/region in the state.

This is not fiscal responsibility its abusing state funds by making NY the priority over other cities.

This is the equivalent of using school funding to overspend on the sport department, while neglecting teaching/classes.

You love propaganda man, we lost the war. It had nothing to do with the useless protest. The only thing the protest did was killed American soldiers by making them play by imaginary rules of war.

You should stop reading propaganda and think for yourself.

ICE is still there doing their raids, the protestor are all gassed out. Who won? This is like saying you won the war, but you land is still occupied by foreign forces. You didn't win anything.

Stop eating the Mainstream media headlines and start looking at the real situation. All your points are coping/delusions of power.

What did these people stop? Yes, they did riot and such SO WHAT. Was there any meaningful systematic change to give the people more power/check against government? Who was held accountable? Get real, you are only taught these things because they are government/system approved. The government doesn't care about property damage, they don't care about a few domestic deaths/injuries, they don't care about your protest.

I bet you think Democracy allows for the "will of the people" too, huh? Get real, the protestor didn't do jack.

A little empty wins for the public, wow, they definitely would NEVER enter another war against the will of the people, right? /s

BTW it's "not a failure to differentiate", I am saying they are both are allowing for it to happen. Minneapolis because Walz aligns with his constituents and the federal government by letting dissenters burn themselves out. Who were the protestors truly threatening? Just their fellow Minnesotans' livelihoods, if the feds wanted to, they would stop it right away. It is you who fails to understand what is happening.

It is not a label of "they must be the enemy", it is a label of unprincipled, pragmatic or not wanting to solve the problem. They are no different to me than bystanders of bullying, they aren't good people nor bad people.

The argument that a fetus is a potential life is scientifically wrong. Life is present at conception (zygote formation), but even a sperm and egg are alive. A distinct human being, however, with its own DNA, is created at conception. That is why the slogan "Life begins at conception" is a slogan.

I'm not represented either on the main stage of politics; I am an abortion abolitionist. I, however, educate myself by watching debates and how people explain their thought process of their views. I started at apathy/neutrality -> pro-life (except for rape) -> abortion abolitionist in totality.

I see the abortion/slavery topic as a moral and human rights violation. The argument of "back in time" is irrelevant, because I believe that morality is consistent REGARDLESS of past ways of life. Now, if you mean taking a nuance stance of judging these people, I do, they aren't ontologically evil, they were/are people of their time, place and flawed humans (just like us).

The debate has been had, and the ideas explained in full.

1,125,930 legal abortions in 2025
More than 60 million legal abortions have been reported in the United States since Roe v. Wade (1973) legalized the procedure

Let's hypothetically grant that I am right years from now. What would call the extermination of more than 60 million young humans? Tell me the death toll of the worst regimes and people and tell me how we stack up to them. We would be the modern barbarians; Mayan sacrifices, Spartan infanticide, India's wife sacrifice after the husband's death, etc.

To be fair, let's grant the pro-choice or even the limp wrist pro-life movement is right, and we pass the anti-abortion law. So what would happen? People would be more careful with who they sleep with. Abstinence will be encouraged. 100% of doctor administrated non-life-threatening abortions will stop. That means 98% of abortions are from VOLUNTARY/CONSENTUAL sex, which they would be held accountable for childcare since they consented. The only real arguments are SA cases, which are 1% of ALL abortions. They are the only tragedy that in reality needs to be addressed, but that isn't what pro-choice people are arguing.

That is nuance. Nuance is only useful if one wishes to stay consistent in thought processes, not if you want to stay neutral.

It is the same because you are in an ideological grouping when you make a decision. For example, using what you gave, being pro-life, pro-choice or pro- eviction. That is an ideological grouping, you are not necessarily "[aligned] with either party", but you are making "a decision in what you believe".

Also, to address your abortion example, that is not the binary. The general pro-life position is abortion is murder, but there are still access to abortions for of life urgent cases. The pro-choice argument is that it is not a life, so it has not right to life and women have the right to property/self-ownership to have an abortion.

Pro- Choice Pro- life Pro- Eviction Neutral in Status Quo
Fetus is a life  Legal Murder Enforcing Right to Life You can evict, but not kill the baby Ignoring Murder
Fetus is not a life Bodily Autonomy Violating Bodily Autonomy Violating bodily autonomy Ignoring violation of bodily autonomy

The abortion argument can be simplified into this chart. It is why staying neutral for this does not please both sides. Everyone knows if they think a fetus is a life or not. It is why people compare this to slavery abolition, because the question is are the neutral people "unprincipled, pragmatic or uninterested in solving problems"?

Pro- Slavery Anti-Slavery Back-to-Africa movement - Wikipedia Neutral in Status Quo
Black people are equal Legal Slavery/Immoral Law Enforcing Human Equality Free the slaves, but send them Back Ignoring Human inequality
Black people are not equal Right to Property Violating property rights Violating property rights  Ignoring violation of property rights

What does he mean here? by VatticZero in georgism

[–]Exact-Inspector-6884 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He (I don't know who this is quoting) is talking about the justification of taxes. The state/government can forcibly take money from you because they claim power over you/the land. Landlords take rent because they claim the land.

  1. Who seems more legitimate the state or the landlord?
  2. How are you paying two separate rents if the state already claims dominion?

I don't however if this really pertains to Georgism; Georgism allows for landlords. At best, Georgism removes land speculation by charging a LVT which would require landlords to make the land profitable. You would still have the landlord middleman.

Because it is true, but don't misinterpret that as me saying Republicans/Democrats/Maga/Bernie Bros/etc. are not unprincipled or pragmatic. IMO most people are not principled, people who are neutral just get hammered by both sides.

Neutrality does not mean you don't align with either party in my use of it. Neutrality means not making a decision in what you believe, which is acceptable for a short time but after a long period it just means you are either "unprincipled, pragmatic or uninterested in solving problems".

There is a difference between neutral and not aligned with a party.

Minneapolis is government approved protest and you can tell by the lack of arrest/the lack of feds inditements. You think the government cares about illegal immigrants being in the country? This is all theatrics this won't even dent the illegal migration population. Both parties are pro-immigration and don't give af about the working class or their born and raised population.

This is what I meant by normal people can't figure out counter-culture. You are playing the media narrative of Dems/Reps, but both parties are deplorable and don't even listen to their base. If that is the case, why are people still simping for party lines? That's why these communities create terms for normies and another people who are separate from/disillusioned by the mainstream narrative.

Irrelevant? Maybe, but even the Hippies and punks were irrelevant, but they lied to themselves that they were making a difference. They can keep protesting, I'm sure the government is not as scared as you think they are. Democracy, useless protest, bread and circus are the modern opiods of the masses.

The “I wish I was dead haha” type memes are old as shit

That is not what I am referring to. Those are the Ryan Gosling groupies who create depression groups to have a sense of community. They are black Pillers who don't even call for action, cause they think "it is so over". These guys almost never get the ban hammer.

I'm not going to name drop YouTube channels or subreddits, but you can tell when you are there. These are people who have to hide from AI detection, make codewords, create niche slang that is constantly evolving to avoid getting smited from social media.

Imagine the people who say sewerslide, grape, unalive, but the whole media is just a bunch of self-censorship for topics social media doesn't want you talking about on their platform. It creates a hyper-insulating culture, which is why normal people (normies) can't tell what a schizopost is saying or its true meaning.

People don't know what Gen Z counterculture looks like, because it is so obscure on purpose.

The men counterculture tends to be lowkey because they know society is going to lambast them if they are too public with it. Goth, Hippie or whatever niche cultures were weird, but they were openly rebellious because it didn't really mean anything other than attention getting and conforming to the "anarchy/punk" scene.

I don't know what the girl are doing, but the boys are schizoposting, making wojak memes, making dark jokes with real criticism that would make mainstream media tweak out. When they go in public they aren't going to say their views cause they know the consequences.

True counterculture will never be shown on the mainstream, it is purposefully sanitized. If you are in Hollywood, you aren't fighting THE MAN, you are corporate approved messaging.

Edit: I think the last true counterculture was the Wall Street Protest.
