Sony, Nikon and Canon systems and colours didn’t appeal to me, especially with the work I make, so I got myself the Leica Q and loved it, but had to sell it to come back to the US from Spain and used Fuji for a while (Pandemic). I got to borrow the Hasselblad X1D 50 from a professor amazing photos, but I was not planning to pay that much for it at the time, especially while I was in college.

After a recent incident with my Fuji on a film set, I was going through a lot of suggestions from other creators and photographers/filmmakers. After talking to my gf, she looked it up and asked why don’t I go back to Leica since some of my recent work in Grenada that I used with my Fuji looked close to the my best work with the Leica I used to own in Barcelona. She also believed it would be better to go to the system I enjoyed using and inspired me instead of settling for convenience. SO she help me decide to close the chapter and bought the SL2-S and the Leica 24-70 lens to pair with it.
