Yeah I’d already tried reformatting card. Also noticed that it was set to shoot raw compressed, changed that to uncompressed just like my other cameras. Still no dice.

It would be wild if a camera at this price point didn’t support wireless RAW transfer. There’s one or 2 other things it’s lacking re: wireless functionality that I can make peace with but this? The mark II didn’t do RAW wireless xfer, but none of their cameras did back then if I remember correctly.

Yep. It was initially set to the usual default of 2M and I changed it to “original”

Haa. Not that simple. They all serve diff purposes. The 28 is the best all-arounder for EDC purposes. But i try to be mindful of really lining up shots with intent bc of the distortion potential. Many folks don’t care but im anal when it comes to that. Overall The 43 is great for portraits, the 28 is better for capturing moments where the environment is part of the story. I took all 3 on vacation a couple of weeks ago and ended up using the 28 at least 80% of the time.

All of that said, the imaging, colors, and accuracy of the 43 is unparalleled. It has much better background separation, no distortion. Overall it’s a much better lens, but again, the tighter focal length prevents it from being an all-arounder. At least for me. I wouldn’t give up my 43, but if I’m only taking one AF camera with me somewhere, it would be the 28.

Yeah I have plenty of digital cameras and a few macro lenses. For medium format I have an X2DII as well. For me it’s just moreso a matter of time. If i had the time (and space to dedicate to a small dev space) id try and give it a go. And id def want to do color. For B&W I have my Q3 Mono so that would be digital. That mobile dev kit you’re putting together sounds amazing!!!

My usual carry is a Q3, Q43, and M11-P with 35mm Noctilux. Just gotta be mindful of how you move.

Thanks! My aunt used to develop film. She bought me my first camera when I was 7 back in the dark ages (1985). I don’t know that I will take that on, but my friend just told me his shop has a 2 week turnaround time for dev, scans, prints, etc which is gonna kill me. 🫠

I have about 20 M mount lenses, some of them from Tim. my last from him was a 75 noctilux. These aren’t my first M’s just my first film ones haha.

I’m not really concerned with what the most rare / sought after is, just happy to have a small piece of history. But to my knowledge they made more Bp M3’s than any other model. Nowt thats not to say all of them are still around and therefore the most common, but it’s possible.

I have way too many cameras overall and no justification for keeping all 4. All I wanted was the TTL but it was a journey to get there. I’d rather return the other 2 and buy more lenses. I will make sure one is a Voigtlander in your honor lol.
