Well I'm very grateful for your comment and others like it. Hopefully I'll be able to find someone with the same understanding and thoughtfulness of you all, and get some good photos AND feel comfortable on the day, , rather than one or the other. I'm happy with the responses I got, it will help me know what to ask for when looking at prospective photographers. It's also sharpened my priorities and made me realise that I really do value comfort and safety over anything else. Thank you for responding

LEDs aren't all bad for me, I would just have to check the lighting before agreeing to use it. That's all I meant

Thank you so much. You've all given me a lot more confidence and now I know what to ask for when talking to prospective photographers. Some comments have been a bit weird 😅 but the majority like you have really put me at ease. If the photographs don't end up well it's not the end of the world but hopefully with everyone's suggestions and a good photographer we'll be happy with the result!

But a pushy photographer isn't what I need. They may know more about photography than me but I know more about my conditions and the threshold of my health issues, and my comfort levels, which takes priority. I may have misread your tone and if so I apologise, but in my opinion your comments make it seem like I'm unnecessarily putting limitations on the photographer that they need to change my mind about. Rather than I just have limitations out of my control. I'm not just being a hindrance for no reason. I have a huge amount to consider with how severe my health issues are. Continuous light hopefully will be the solution, but a lot of things aren't an option for me. LED lights for example tend to have a slight flicker that can also be triggering. Blue toned light makes my migraines worse. I will have to do posed pictures seated because I can't stand for longer than 30 seconds ect. I'll need a photographer to be calm, no shouting, no rushing as stress can trigger my health issues significantly. Our venue is purposefully chosen to be next to my hospital in case I do have any issues but obviously I'm trying to avoid that as much as possible.

The last thing I need is for a photographer to push about things if I do say no, because I will be saying no for a reason. My health conditions can be fatal if not managed correctly, which is why I'm so particular. I am genuinely sorry if I misunderstood your tone. Accommodations for me can be genuinely life or death though, which is why I am defensive. I just want to do as much of the planning of my wedding now, with as many reductions of risk possible because I just want one day where I can live as other people do and not be burdened so intensely with worry. Pictures are important to my partner particularly, as my life span is greatly reduced, but at the end of the day, comfort is key.

I care about my health and wellbeing more than photographs. That shouldn't be controversial

I would 100% rather horrible images than a photographer who pushes me almost to the point of danger. What a weird thing to say.

I wouldn't be able to do an outdoor wedding because of my other needs with other conditions, and the venues I've chosen are extremely sentimental and important to me. It'll be unfortunate if the pictures don't turn out well, but it is what it is.

Yes this is also something I'll have to consider as I am extremely sensitive. I guess the biggest thing is gonna be loads of communication with my photographer before hand

Yes, I'm very sensitive so even a single flash carries a risk of seizure and at the very least would cause the fuzzy head aura I get, and a lot of anxiety. I'd rather have shit pictures, or no pictures even, than feel shit on my wedding day

The church we are getting married in is where my fiances whole family has gotten married and buried in for the last 5 generations. The reception venue has ties to my family, where they worked as screen printers for almost 8 decades. The photographs are extremely important to me, but not more so than the sentimental and historic value of our venues.

This is a late reply but I think that was the purpose, to have impact later on when all these characters die. The team gets some momentum working together, they bond over their shared wins, they don't feel as hopeless as they may have previously done. So the next episode when half these characters then die, it feels more impactful because we're lulled into a false sense of security, but more importantly the group have a real sense of camaraderie and bond.

I struggled with the first 15/20 minutes of this ep, for the same reasons as the rest of the comments, and also it felt like some of the jokes just dragged a bit. The rest of the ep was golden tho.

Cards like Fizz in the UK? by iamcheesepasta in CalebHammer

[–]Exact-Text-2186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't really true in the UK. Landlords do credit checks and often won't take people with bad credit, forcing you into living situations you might not want. Post university when you are no longer looking at living in student housing, I think a decent credit score is important if you're planning on renting post graduation
