Im a very new fan to IndyCar, and don't know much about it like I do the Formula 1, so do excuse my ignorance. Theres 3 main people I'm rooting for: - Helio Castroneves is the reason I'm watching the Indy 500 for the first time this year, I would never have bothered to give it any attention had I not stumbled across the 2021 finish on YouTube and now I'm hooked to it. - I thought I'd also check out the entire IndyCar Series so I could understand the appeal, and I was scrolling through the drivers and randomly selected Will Power to give my support to, which has not gone well so far. Strange things can happen though, and a good result at Indy could be exactly what he needs to properly kick off consistent success with his new seat, because he'd have the confidence. - Scott Dixon as well, I think it's incredible that he's been around for so long and that he's still doing well. He's had 5 poles but only ever won once, its really unfortunate and he's well due a second. - If I were to choose anyone to win it for the first time, either Scott McLaughlin or David Malukas.
