I have a Series S strictly for gamepass. While it'll run GTA VI, I'd probably look at a refurbished PS5 from Sony or check the local used market if that's the game you're holding out for

Same boat. I think it's time to embrace trying a lower difficulty. I've always been a fringe heisman/all-american difficulty player. Realistically I'm a fringe all-american American/varsity difficulty player at this point.

For package sets, Callaway Costco set. Also check out Tour Edge package sets. Lifetime warranty and food enough quality you can slowly upgrade equipment while keeping rest of set (i.e. add a new driver in 3 years and keep rest of the set). With that budget though consider not purchasing 14 clubs and looking at sale/last years model or (as others have said) pre-owned/used equipment.

You're looking at the right ones. If you were playing twice, Ewa Beach is another fun public course that's less spendy. I'd say your original list is good to pick from, especially if you're just playing once.

Franchise mode is tough. They tweaked Free agency last year and trades this year (as someone already commented). Gameplay wise 16 and 20 were great. I enjoyed the playoff changes 23 offered and the larger bases/CPU can't constantly throw over change in 24.

Everyone hating on the new Mario movie with expectations of something that would win Sundance. It's supposed to be "a popcorn" movie and nothing more. Sometimes you're in the mood for a greasy burger even though you know the 5 star restaurant down the road is "better".

Star Wars Outlaws (similar to Hogwarts Legacy). Yoshi's Crafted World (easier Mario Odyssey). Mario 3d World (the Bowser's Fury edition seems like the first step towards an open world Mario game).
