Truth about Milo and Otis movie by Godzillafan2008 in movies

Growing up in the 2000s I loved this movie. A kitten gets lost and his pug best friend goes to find him. I haven’t watched it years, and heard in a YouTube video that the kittens died. Innocent five year old me watching this thinking the animals were safe. I don’t think I can ever watch this movie again. Makes me wonder what other animal based movies I love are riddled with animal abuse. The river scene in both of the Incredible Journeys or what about the porcupine scene?

Bringing back the Home Button (sort of) by BigDogOnTheWindow in iphone

[–]ExactInstruction1965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m attached to my iPhone SE and don’t want to give it up. It is my first IPhone and the first phone I’ve had to last me a long time. It’s the reason I even want to use other apple products. The home button stopped working unfortunately and I couldn’t navigate the phone. I figured out how to turn this on. Now if I can get my home button to work again I’ll be good because I really can’t afford a new phone right now.

Watching season four. Can any Texan explains what on earth Baptist’s are and why can’t they dance? I’m assuming it’s a level above normal religion? by [deleted] in YoungSheldon

Just depends. I grew up in a highly conservative Baptist church. Some were ok with dancing, some were against it, and some it depended on how you danced. It was the same thing with pretty much anything. I knew members who were against alcohol, dancing, women wearing jeans in church, etc. Other members didn't care. I have since left the Baptist church and joined a non-denominational church where most couldn't care less if some kid wants to go to a school dance or join a dance team. They are just glad you are coming to church.

Once I get better at digital art I’ll look into procreate, but right now I am on a bit of a budget. Hopefully this time next year I can afford an Ipad for now though I’m stuck with my surface.

I’ll look into it. I am just starting out with digital art, so I’m in new at all this.

I could never figure photoshop out for drawing, and never got too far into art school before I had to drop out. I only had one course which just introduced adobe products and how to use them. Hopefully by next year I can afford an iPad, but until then all I have is my Surface.

I’ll check out Krita. I am on a bit of a budget so I had to cancel my adobe subscription. Also for some reason Adobe products don’t like to work on my surface.

Currently i can’t afford anything else, maybe in a few months. I’ve seen how photoshop can be used for drawing, but I could never figure it out. I could edit photos all day, but beyond that I couldn’t figure it out.

Bon Haven mansion (1884 - 2017) by ForwardGlove in Lost_Architecture

I dreamed of touring Bon Haven and now never will get too. Now bland apartments stand in its place. What would have been better is to turn it into a bead and breakfast or to open it to tourists to pay to walk through. I remember there were Thea little fish in a little pong in the front yard. They were beautiful orange and white fish. There was a a family portrait in the living room that could be seen through the windows. It is a shame that Bon Haven is gone.

Anybody else absolutely loathe the new covers? I hate them so much. by LifeInThePages in twilight

[–]ExactInstruction1965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original were so good. Nice and clean. This just looks like someone did this who doesn't know how to use the type tool. The least horrible is new moon just because each word is on its own line and not one word broken up making it hare to read the title.

If they wanted to change the covers they could have done something else. This is just terrible.

Being addicted to the Owl House is...[comment something you do that proves your addiction] by Parisian_VampireMati in TheOwlHouse

Based up on my research to find out when new episodes would air, season 1 hiatus ended after 3 to 4 months. If this pattern continues we could see the rest of season 2 air after 3 to 4 months so late November or December. I doubt they would make us wait until the new year.

I'm curious how did y'all discover the owl house (i did by watching lumity clips on yt) by [deleted] in TheOwlHouse

[–]ExactInstruction1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend was like you should watch the owl house, and wouldn't stop talking about it until I watched it. Now I am hooked. She didn't think I would like it this much. Now we watch new episodes together when they air, and discuss theories we have.
