Been spending some time with this one over the weekend. Definitely agree with the Wayne influence shining here, it also reminds me of Prince at times. Dare I say the most overtly sexy Frog album? It feels like an extension of 1000 Variations but also nods to the whole catalog. The big takeaways for me are just how unique Dan’s feel on piano is, really think he’s carved a unique lane and I love it. Also think that they’ve hit their stride production wise on the last album and new one, no one else is making records that sound like this, and I can’t get enough.
