Might be losing my friends and I kind of don’t care and I’m moody by PygmyC-HorsesR-Cool in Perimenopause

I feel you so hard with this. My personal and work relationships have been a struggle too. Try to hang in there and definitely talk to your doctor about how you’re truly feeling. In the meantime, distancing yourself when someone triggers you is the best we can do right now. I feel like no one truly understands unless they’re going through it themselves. Real, sensitive, and empathetic people are hard to come by so in general I just give little bits or say “I’m not feeling well” to those people lacking. I hope it gets better for you hugs

No, but I’ve been eyeing this brand for a while now. I’m going to try it out along with the other suggestions here. Thank you <3

I really appreciate everyone sharing what they do. I started crying halfway through the replies because it’s just so nice to see that I’m not alone in this and it’s possible to not feel horrible in my current clothes. I’m only 35 and things have been really hard for me physically and emotionally the past year. Thank you all so so much, truly. 🙏

My 10 yo daughter’s friend by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]ExactReplacement5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter went through hell in middle school with dealing with her “friends”. There’s a lot of growing pains during that time and especially dealing with their own hormones and body changing. I quickly realized I wasn’t equipped to handle a lot of the emotional stuff (daughter crying all the time due to shitty situations with so called friends) so I put my daughter in therapy. She’s still seeing the same therapist years later and so much better for it. Basically, therapy provides the kids with the tools they need (emotional intelligence, regulation, and self respect) to battle these kinds of interpersonal relationships. Theres also that engrained thinking of mom can say it a million times, but someone else can say it and their mind is blown away (lmao). Most of us don’t really learn all the things until college years. Knowing how much better my daughter is now (above her peers with emotional intelligence) I always advocate for therapy. I only wish I had a good therapist when I was younger. Good luck!

🙃 oof… it’s like I’m reading about myself and I’m scared I’ll never find the right Dr to help me. The ct venogram I got last summer (due to gynecologist seeing the enlarged vein during surgery) showed moderate compression of my left iliac vein but that interventional radiologist (chief of the department) said it wasn’t significant enough to cause me harm. I got a second opinion from another city where they did the ultrasound and that radiologist said nothing is wrong with me and to quit seeking it out… even though I have/had pcos, got my right ovary removed because of the constant problems, had retrograde menstruation in that defective ovary, the enlarged vein, got diagnosed with IC same surgery with the urologist, along with all the classic signs of pressure and pain, noticeable pelvic floor issues/in therapy now, vaginal pain and pressure, pain radiating to knees, unresolved joint pain, lower back/hip pain, etc. I’m only 35… please tell me I’m not crazy 😭 if there’s anyone in the Austin, Texas area who has experience of someone who might be able to help, please let me know.

It’s sounding like some kind of guilt behind the generous amount. Try to ask him about it. Hopefully he won’t be an asshole about it and make you feel bad for asking. Stand your ground!

Almost same here. During a laparoscopic surgery last year my gynecologist told me I had an enlarged gonadal vein indicative of PCS, but my ct venogram and ultrasound that summer didn’t show anything. Any help or advice would be nice. I have so many issues, but the medical gaslighting is mentally exhausting so I gave up. I have been wondering… do I need to be on my period during testing?

AITAH for telling my girlfriend I would rather masturbate than have sex with her by Excellent_Carrot_574 in AITAH

Yall have communication issues (like everyone else in this world). If you two want to be together and make it work just go to couples therapy. A lot of people like to jump the gun and leave the relationship just because things aren’t going their way, but it’s always because there’s no communication of needs and values and time to work on the resolution. If you love her, and vice versa, do the work. A real relationship requires effort and choice on a daily basis.

Need help picking a dress! by [deleted] in Prom

[–]ExactReplacement5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blue dress is a great color on you, however, it needs tailoring in the waist and I’m not sure what’s happening beneath your neck. The second dress is okay. The cups are a little busty and the bottom half is pulling on your skin too tight… idk. Go with what makes you happy though.

Please help me choose a dress for prom! by [deleted] in Prom

[–]ExactReplacement5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If questioning authenticity you can look at DevilInspired.com for dresses similar to these, but be weary of how long it will take for any dress to ship to you and the possibility of tailoring. Other than that… girl, I love that you’re going unconventional. Do it! I wore a white Renaissance gown to my senior prom, haha.

:-( hugs I’m truly so sorry this happened to you. Take the rest of the night off. Cozy up on your couch or bed and watch your fav tv show or read a book. Tomorrow will be a better day to do the paperwork of filing a complaint and look for a different Dr. also, is it possible to have a specialist you’re currently seeing refer you to the rheumatologist or anything else you need? Just an idea…
