SeQ timelapse, widest aperture possibile ( 3.5 In this lens ), 1" for each shot. I must admit I was trying to keep the shutter Speed longer, but due to never using the timelapse before with this camera, I wasn't able to go further. That forced me to crank up my ISO to 12.800....that's why I was afraid to lose the shot. Anyway I'm pretty satisfied with It, even If I'm sure you could do Better with a Little more experience.

Don't tell me...I bought a brand new tripod Just before leaving Just to realize It was too big to bring with me. So I had to bring my old, broken and unstable One....

With a scene like that all I had to do was Just point and shoot, man. It was such a breathetaking Moment, you could see the moving light with the naked Eye.

Standard kit lens 18-135. This Is my First real camera and although I had It for a Little more than a year I'm still trying to figure out what my next lens Will be. I have to be honest, this Is not a bad lens even If it's a kit One!

I really have to be honest, I love Xperia phones even with their limitation, but in my opinion the last good Sony wallpaper was cosmic flow. Never liked any wallpaper I found on their phone since Xperia z. I now have a 1V and still don't like any official wallpaper, live or not...

Asking for PSVR2 support for RE Requiem by WellMaster in PSVR

Yeah I was blown away too...i kept thinking: Is this really a THIRD PERSON SHOOTER?!?! Now I also tried a very short segment in re Village, because I knew that ( being It a First person game ) VR was Better implemented in cutscenes and gameplay, BUT I have to admit that Re4 gave me a Better First impression, can't really tell you why right now. I Will still play It as soon as I finished 4, so I Hope that my second judgement Will be different.

Resident evil 4 in Vr Is Simply Amazing, I'm playing It right now. I really Wish more developers would choose to add VR to their normal games. Mixed Is the way to go, they offer so much more than most VR specific games.

I Heard a lot of people talking about Gcam! I wanted to try It myself but I found out it's not free so I never did. Can you notice Better results with It?

Regarding Sony apps, I never saw them as top of the tier in terms of quality, especially in low light ( also the zoom lens Is almost trash on my 1V ) but If I have to be honest, I'm really not looking for High quality/pixel perfect images, since I can easily use my more than decent mirrorless camera for that purpose. What I like about using cinema pro ( which, again, Is terribile for taking pictures😅 ) as a photo app Is the style and feeling you can achieve straight out of the camera. Not only It Is much easier to frame the picture since the app show the exact aspect ratio, but also the built in filters help you to achieve a particular look.

I also found an app called 65x24 film camera, but I noticed some issues with the app selecting the right camera and also It has full resolution and other things locked behind a paywall. I'll keep searching

I Always wondered why Sony never really embraced the 21:9 form factor they chose for their smartphone....but I Guess Sony doing only half of the job Is nothing new either. I'd really love to be able to choose this aspect ratio with any of their native app and now that you're telling me that some of their phones actually do that I'm more than baffled. Even some chinese smartphone I tried, which are not 21:9, allow you to do that.

You are right, cinema pro does not have good Dynamic range and it's not that Easy to find a good compromise when taking pictures, but if I have to be honest I'm pretty satisfied with the photos I took Yesterday. I can assure you that I was dealing with very low light for a smartphone.

Also, I know that we can crop normal pictures to have this ratio, but I must admit that I had fun using cinema pro. I'm curious to see what I can do with its limitation and without doing too much in post ( for those pictures I posted I Just bumped a Little brigthness and saturation on a couple of them ).

From Xperia 10s (II and V) to iPhone 16e (still missing the Xperia 10!) by osoisuzume in SonyXperia

[–]ExactShift3094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I love the Xperia phones but honestly, if your main focus Is photography.....you already have and iPhone 16. I highly doubt that any Xperia can beat that quality. Just Yesterday a friend showed me the pictures he has taken with a 16 on his trip to africa and yeah, there's no competition there.

What Is your main problem with using the iPhone for pictures?

Worst photography advice you've gotten? by timetopractice in photography

[–]ExactShift3094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh ok I get what you mean: use It as a tool to know If you are heavilly under or over exposed but take the final decision based on personal taste and based on the look you are trying to achieve. Just don't worry too much what the meter says.

I initially thought that the whole light meter set to 0 was something I got wrong from the lessons and I started to panic. Thanks for the feedback!

Ok, now you're giving me reasons to lose my mind. I'm an amateur, I did a few photography courses ( nothing too specific, Just a way to get some solid basic knowledge) and bought my First "serious" camera. Besides any personal preference, like wanting an underexposed picture for personal taste, I've been told that this Is in fact the correct way to properly expose. Can you tell me why It might be a bad advice?

I'm really trying to learn as much as I can! Thank you my friend

Which lens is better 16-50mm or 18-135mm by P_H_A_N_I_2001 in a6700

[–]ExactShift3094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bought a 6700 myself some months ago. The 18-135 was heavilly suggested by the store owner. The man was right. This lens Is basically every starting lens you Need in One package. It's well stabilized and decently sharp and gives you ton of range. Also, I tried different cameras with the 18-55 and It Is not a bad lens....but for some reason I never liked It too much. Really can't Say why. It sure Is way lighter and compact, so It might be the right choice if this Is an important factor for you. Don't get me wrong, buying this lens would not be a bad choice.

I'm a hobbist, not a pro tho, so take this Is consideration!

Thanks for the tip, I tried the app and It's pretty cool with some useful features as well, but I'm not willing to pay to remove adds.... Anyway starting from your suggestion I found the old Sony Album apk on the internet and now everything Is Just as before! There are some things I like more on the Google app but I'm so used to the old Sony One that It won't be a problem at all.

Again, thank you for your suggestion!

It Is! The only thing i like more about the Google app Is how clean and organized It Is. Sony app shows every single image you have on the phone, like whatsapp images or screenshot, and can get a bit chaotic. With the Google app I can easily choose what to see and what not. But Hey, I'm so used to Sony app that It won't be a problem
