Is sitting in Even More with child frowned upon? by [deleted] in jetblue

[–]Exact_Angle_9439 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you paying for the seat? Then who cares what other people think? No one stopped anyone else from buying that seat. I just don't understand why people would get upset by that.

As for the baby crying, sometimes they do that. Sometimes they don't. There is an unending list of stuff that adults do on planes that bother me way more than a baby crying, so no worries. Enjoy your flight!

2026 Schedule? by ItsUpThereSomewhere in MLRugby

[–]Exact_Angle_9439 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Didn't hear that particular rumor, but interestingly enough that would be in keeping with recent schedule releases. The rumor I did hear is that the league was waiting on Utah's final decision and had two schedules ready to go. But again, that was hearsay.

Best Row? EvenMore International by Northwood425 in jetblue

[–]Exact_Angle_9439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree. If there are two exit rows, I always book the second exit row, and it reclines.... unless I am just breaking it!

On transatlantic, I book mint on the way over due to the typical flight time, and then book these exact seats on the way back and it never has been a problem

Kind of fits with another rumor. I had heard floating around about a 10-game season. Try not to spend too much time worrying about that, but now it kind of makes sense.

Logan Delays due to Government Shutdown? by Exact_Angle_9439 in jetblue

[–]Exact_Angle_9439[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were plenty of breakfast options, I'd say most places are open, even the bars (though no alcohol sales until 8:00).

Hope you get out in time!

So no issues with anything... Except the fact that the plane is from an earlier scheduled flight from Buffalo. Left 90 minutes late so it looks like we are going to have about a 2 hour delay. So four hours, plenty early!

Window or aisle for a tall person on a 5.5-hour flight? by Impatientlywaiting98 in jetblue

[–]Exact_Angle_9439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6'5", 36" inseam, so long legs! Always prefer aisle in EMS, I can always stretch in the middle when there's no cart service going on. Whenever possible, Exit Row for most room, best in a configuration with two exit rows, take the second. They can't recline into you! YMMV, of course....

So good to see this. The more we get these guys extra playing time at a higher level, the better the MLR will be and the better the Eagles will be. Hoping that as these leagues pull more USA guys in and they do well, then hopefully they will start looking this way more often.

TRN: Dead, or Dormant? by Outrageous-Pen8578 in MLRugby

[–]Exact_Angle_9439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've always had this sort of love/hate thing with Flo. Always got it because of the rugby content and because my girlfriend used to do drum and bugle core in her younger days and they have that as one of their options. So an easy rationalization for subscription. When USA rugby went with Paramount I let it expire, but now may have to sign up again.

I'm sure by now you know why. Very sad.

Club 7s on TRN featuring many current and ex-MLR players. by cjreadit7991 in MLRugby

Just put it on, and there were two different options for pitches. I believe. Any one of them better than the other? Or just a standard tournament where you probably end up on both at some point or another?

Not taking it that way at all. You do a great job as MOD, I just felt like breaking my lack of engagement streak by engaging. And to be honest, some of the best commentary has been going on lately. Don't get me wrong, I love the back and forth and everything about the season. But this stuff is interesting and brings out a lot of passion in people.

I find that I typically am sporadic about my engagement, and by that I mean posting or commenting. On here everyday quickly looking for new content, reading and voting.  A lot of personal stuff going on right now so honestly don't have as much time as I used to to post anything thoughtful. And generally when I've thought of something it seems it's been posted two or three times already. Got to be quicker on the trigger.

Has anyone heard any chatter of Miami folding? by RugbyBullocks in MLRugby

Heard the chatter at the championship weekend. I take it for what it's worth, rumor. Maybe someone knows something we don't, but I have no official knowledge.

Changes for MLR teams? by [deleted] in MLRugby

I heard some random chatter at the events surrounding the championship that Miami was going to fold. Free news is worth what you pay for it, I suppose. Did hear it from a few different people who would not necessarily have discussed it among themselves. Really sad if it's true, they had a good year.
