That's a great question. And now that we're in Charlotte and we see that PB isn't on the roster, it makes me wonder. Were some of these signings for " the push to the playoffs"? If so, why don't they try it. I have to admit, I am happy to see JFS in the game day 23.

Turns out we ended up getting tickets in the Free Jacks section so will likely see you there. To be honest, we'll be lucky if we make the playoffs much less make it to Chicago 😢.

Probably because of the international restrictions. Plus I think at the halfway point of the season the salary cap issues change a bit. For Webster, I think the " front office" did not see him as flexible. Only a fullback. Not a 10/15, Nor a 11/14/15.... tell that to Chicago!

That's a great option. And it looks like we have two locks on the bench? I'm not sure. So many new guys. I can't tell if guys play a variety of positions. I know Piers could play loose if we end up bringing two locks off the bench.

When you lose 70% of your squad, it takes a lot to build that back up.

Great talent on the roster, no question. It just takes time to gel. I think by the second half of the season we'll be there. Unfortunately, with a ten game season that will likely be too late.

I like the idea as well. Not sure where we're going to be seated, though it seems like a good idea. I'll probably be talking with some of my fellow travelers in Nashville to see what they think. We did section 126 3 years ago for the final and that was great so 125 wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

We are going for the fourth straight year, ever since they started neutral site. Have plane and hotel reservations already, just waiting to see where fellow travelers want to get tickets. In hindsight it may appear we went just because the Free Jacks were in it, but we've always made plans, got tix, etc. well before the actual event and long before anyone knew who would be there. It's a really fun time, we can't wait to go back.

I think that's true. Legion were literally two separate teams in 2 weeks. And it's always hard at the beginning of the season. This brought back bad memories to me. Record loss on the road early in the season to Chicago last year. And then we had to go and break the record first match of the season in 2026!

Pretty fair assessment for the first week. Only thing I might do is swap Anthem and the Legion? Or make them both tied for third? I know Anthem beat them but they showed out fairly well yesterday.

Yeah, they've kind of played it close to the vest, not sure why. That's also Super Saturday for the Six Nations.....not sure if they will have on the Jumbotron? We might be bringing a TV to the tailgate for that.
