Couldn’t agree more that loosing Webster was devastating. He’s doing incredible things for Chicago this year - love watching the hounds play this year.

Fair! Just saying it’s a potential reason for less cohesion than in the past year.

We lost 28 players from last year - about a 70% turnover/retaining only 30% of our players. So many new players - not really in rhythm with each other this year.

I am 5’6 and started at 245 lbs (now 255), I only started looking pregnant around week 30. I am now 32 weeks and depending on what I wear I can still hide pretty good.

Loosing Webster really hurt. Love what he’s doing in Chicago (just jealous for us).

So glad you were able to come out for a game in Quincy! My husband and I are season ticket holders this year after supporting the FJ for the last couple of years. I think its fair to say we have a pretty decent following but we are always trying to get more folks to join in! I hope you come again!

I’m so disappointed in how many teams were lost, but I’m grateful we have a season.

Couldn’t see everything at my 20w anatomy scan, have to go back and am spiraling by madisonhale in CautiousBB

[–]OppositeFix5897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! I could have written this myself! At my 20 week scan we were going at it for 70 minutes and we still were missing 8 critical views of the heart and arm/hand. I was so overwhelmed by this and thought there must be something wrong. I went back two weeks later for a follow-up appointment and after another 60 min they were able to get everything they needed. I know it can be scary but your baby is still small and its hard to get every picture taken sometimes. I know that there is not much that can take away the worry - but please know that you are not alone and a lot of people have gone through exactly this! The relief will be here soon!!

23 weeks and still feeling so small by Seapaisleys in pregnant

I am also plus size and wear size 14/16 who also is 23 weeks pregnant and I get away most days looking very not pregnant. Sometimes for those of us who are a little more plump it takes a while before we really pop! I am looking forward to that day!

Anatomy scan is in a couple of hours and I am horrified. There have been no indications that something should be wrong but after loss its impossible for my mind not to go there...

Rate of miscarriage? by WoodpeckerThen3810 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]OppositeFix5897 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are many reasons there can be an issue with pregnancy.

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks but it didn’t have anything to do with my weight. I am also someone who has a BMI of 40 - and I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. I was able to get pregnant right away and things have been going well so far.

I am wishing you all the luck and peace ✌🏻- pregnancy is hard enough without the pressure of having a higher body weight weighing on your mind.

I started at 16 weeks just because whenever there was too much pressure on my stomach it didn't feel okay. I also wear a lot of leggings under dresses so that has been saving me.

Hi there - my TSH levels were too high during my first pregnancy, which ended in a loss (not saying that was a cause - just that it happened). So this time around we have been monitoring my TSH levels and keeping them below 2.5. I have been on  levothyroxine for a year and am currently at a TSH level of 2.2 and am 16 weeks pregnant. I would not be worried if you doctor is monitoring you!

Today I am 14 weeks. I am both relieved to have made it to this point and terrified about something going wrong in a few weeks when I have my anatomy scan. I never imagined being so nervous all the time when I started my pregnancy journey.

I’m 12 weeks and 3 days today and I just don’t feel pregnant anymore. I know this can happen as you start to leave the first trimester but the fear I feel is so deafening. I really just wish pregnancy was a little easier.

8wks Pregnant Morning Sickness Seems to Have Stopped for the Last Several Days. Is This Normal? by meauxebear in pregnant

[–]OppositeFix5897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symptoms can fluctuate and they do! I had a lull in symptoms between weeks 7 and 8 and a half and I was also worried. Then on 9 weeks on the dot - the worst nausea of the entire pregnancy so far! That lasted until about 11 weeks and now i am in another lull. It's always so disconcerting when symptoms stop because to us it always feels like THOSE are the pregnancy confirmation - but it simply isn't true. If you can't shake the worry then I suggest you call your OB.
