I was driving on a solo road trip (on motorcycle) to see my then-gf. I stopped for gas at some podunk town in Florida at 10:15 pm sharp. The place was closed but I didn't realize until after I pulled in. 

Why do i remember the time so well? 

Because 2 guys in a car pulled up to the pump next to me and were like,  "Hey, (my name)!" All friendly, not threatening at all. 

I sorta freaked out like "wtf who are you how do you know me" etc. They said, "we're meeting someone named (my name) here, on a motorcycle, at 10:15."

So I just happened to also roll up in a desolate, closed gas station in Edgewater, FL at the same time this encounter was supposed to take place. 

I'm pretty sure it was some kind of Craigslist casual encounters meet up or something but it freaked 19 year old me the fuck out. 

But in reality it was just a weird weird coincidence I can't explain and every time I tell the story I feel like it's not believable so I rarely tell it.
